SoundMAGIC E11 Wired Earbuds, No Mic, Hi-Fi Stereo, 3.5mm Jack, Gunmetal

These are my go-to ear plugin's I have tried some of the other "favorite" IEM's and they fell short in the sub $50 earbud price range. The E11 bass is balanced, never muddy or blown out but the sub Bass is nonexistent if you are into Hip Hop or Rap but for Rock N' Roll the bass is hitting on all cylinders, the mids are off the hook, alive with a sound stage that really brings out the vocals, drums & distortion fed guitars are what these plugs do best the sound stage is fantastic, the highs can be shrill unless you use the equalizer and back it down -1 or -2 on the scale but once you dial these plugs in tonally they are ready for some volume and these plugs can handle it in fact the harder I push these E11's the better they sound. Build quality is top notch and look amazing in gun metal. This is my 2nd pair the first pair lasted 5 years and I abused them to no end. If you like Pop, Rock, Jazz these plugs will impress, they really are sound magic! Negatives - Not suitable for heavy bass/sub-bass music.. Highs can be shrill until dialed in. Cable is a major tangle terror and can create static noise when rubbing clothing. Positives - Build quality is superior, sound stage will impress, can handle higher volumes without distorting, durable, 3 size ear plugs.

Bose discontinued their wired earbud line, so I was looking for a replacement. At $40, I knew this would not compare, but based on other reviewers' comments, I was hoping for something that could work. I think whether or not you buy this set of earbuds is what tradeoffs you want to make. For me, it was a bad fit. Here's my pros/cons list: PROS: - great sound. If you are not going to be moving around, just listening to music. Great sound. - great wire casing. It's slick and easier to detangle than the rubber-encased bose headphones I have - great case. Probably the best I've received. Compact, sturdy, perfect color (dark grey so you can find it in the interior of a black purse, but not as in-your-face as a neon one). CONS: - earbud design is not stable. I thought these might be cushioned differently than your average $15-25 earbuds so they would stay firmly in your ear. They don't. They are different, but they won't stay in your ears securely - no volume control. Admittedly, there is no promise of volume control on the description, but I saw the fat section & jumped to the conclusion that there were controls built in. What I love about the bose is the ability to quickly pause/restart/change volume on the headphones themselves - no microphone (which I knew, but for $40, this is a definite con). All in, I wish I had selected a different pair for my intended use, but it is DEFINITELY better than airplane airbuds, so I am going to keep them instead of returning (insufficient time to replace). *Update* After I posted this review, the seller contacted me multiple times to offer me a replacement line of their earbuds they thought would work better for me. It has been 20+ years since I received such customer service. In an era where casual disrespect and disregard for others is the norm, this was an unexpected pleasure. I upgraded my review by one star to reflect the co's concern for its customers. I will try the new version they send & if I love them, will review the appropriate model.

Now that I have become more of a geezer, the need for hard driving bass is less of a requirement. The bass on these ear buds (aka IEMs) is sufficient, but not over powering. This allows more "room" for the mid range and highs. My mp3 player is set to bass and there is now more noticeable mid range (which seemed to be missing with my Sennheiser buds). The highs are crystal clear without being "shrill" or "tinny". I mainly use these while on the treadmill. The passive noise blocking works well and these buds are comfortable. There are three sizes of ear cushions included. The wires are a little thin, so be careful. So, for the money, in my opinion, these buds are worth a test drive.

At this price level, the best you can buy! I used it with HiBy FC DAC and the result, especially in the highs and separation of instruments, is very good for the price. I am not certain bass-heads would love them as much. The noise from the chord can be easily overcome by circling it behind your ears. The plugs are not the best quality, specifically in terms of blocking outside noises, but can be easily replace. I have the m for ~2 years and there may have been some drop of sound quality but it can also be the result of me buying new more expensive headphones after getting the taste for hi-res from this pair. So know what you are buying, but it can be a great purchase!

I own a very nice set of headphones, but they "bleed" a lot of sound to the rest of the room. They were disturbing to my office mate so I needed something that he would not hear. Based on online reviews, I purchased the SoundMagic E11 ear buds. I am very surprised at the sound quality, especially for the price. Everything is clear, and the base is good (for a set of earbud), and the highs are crisp. My biggest complaint is that they could be more comfortable. While I still prefer my headphones, I am not disappointed when I use these ear buds.

HORRID SOUND QUALITY. Just doesn't sound good AT ALL. Why is a $15 quality headphone up with the other $40 ones? I wasted my money!!! Can you imagine actually trying to listen to music with these??

The sound on these earbuds is phenomenal. And the outside noise is minimal. When I turn on the music I’m completely immersed. I wasn’t expecting too much, just because they’re so inexpensive. I am absolutely blown away. They are a little uncomfortable, but my ear holes are weird and I can’t find any that are comfortable so take that with a grain of salt 🤷🏼‍♀️. But I’m very happy. It’s so difficult to find good sound without spending a fortune and I lose my stuff constantly. So if I lose these I’ll just buy another pair

There's nothing really wrong with these headphones provided you keep expectations in check for this price class. Sound is reasonable (not great), they're attractive. You get limited frequency response with these headphones, they sound a little hollow in the midrange, and the bass is highly dependent on choosing the right tip to ensure they have a tight fit in your ear canal. If these are a little lose in your ears, you won't get any bass, and it will be quite disappointing. I was looking for a replacement to the Bose Soundsport wired headphones and unfortunately, these are a clear notch below. Still, it's not bad for a backup headphone, but you may not be completely please if you listen to the glowing reviews here.

Mi son arrivate oggi dopo una settimana d'attesa con spedizione da UK. Queste E11 sono in apparenza molto ma molto simili alle pur ottime E10 con alcune differenze che vado ad elencare: - a livello di look sono più sobrie con un elegante colore argento che vale per gli auriculari, il cavo e i gommini. - il jack è diagonale, se non erro nelle E10, almeno nelle prime edizioni, era ad angolo retto. - la dotazione di gommini di varie dimensioni è più ridotta: solo 3 tipi diversi. - a livello di "vestibilità" nel canale auricolare mi sembrano più sottili e sono comodissime. Le E10 erano forse più larghine: pregio o difetto a seconda della conformazione e delle preferenze di ognuno. - qualità audio molto buona, non saprei dire con precisione le differenze con le E10. Comunque basso sul pompatino, credo siano anche queste V-Shaped. Difficile dirlo perché tra le E10 e queste ho avuto un inter regno con altre cuffie di qualità diversa che a queste altre non reggono nemmeno le ciabatte. - VOLUME: un tallone d'Achille delle E10, per me, è che avevano un volume leggermente troppo basso. Forse l'impendenza a 46 ohm le penalizzava da questo punto di vista. Le E11 hanno un impendenza di soli 16 Ohm e mentre su un piccolo lettore MP3 non ho notato grandissime differenze, su un computer Desktop con impianto 2+1 e presa cuffie, ho constatato che le E11 supportano un livello di volume superiore. E non di poco. Nel complesso, alle prime impressioni, contentissimo dell'acquisto che mi sento di suggerire ad altri reduci E10 e non solo.

Están bastante bien equilibrados , buen diseño y parecen duraderos, no más echo de menos un controlador de volumen y algunas esponjitas mas , pero la calidad es buena , el cable me es sublime y la calidad de audio con un iPhone es muy equilibrada, o con Android, creo que es una buena opción de compra no te vayas a auriculares de más de 50€ , para escuchar Spotify o tidal , si no eres un audiofilo, o si no tienes un buen reproductor, estos serían los perfectos muy aconsejables

The sound of the E11's is exactly what I was looking for. Fairly flat overall, with good extension into the high and low frequency range. I've yet to come across a style of music they can't handle. They are not boomy (a huge plus) and do not fatigue the ears after prolonged listening at moderate volumes. Being in-ear they do a good job of isolating external noise. One downside for some buyers is that there are only 3 tips included. For me the medium tips fit comfortably and snugly in my ears, but for others this may not be the case. The construction quality looks respectable for the price point and the included carrying case is a nice touch. Overall, for the price point, the E11's really provide a strong value. Very nice sounding drivers, aluminum housings, carrying case, silver plated copper cable, and reinforcing along the cable at the Y split, bud termination, and 120 degree angle jack. For wanting more info, I encourage you to check some of the youtube reviews out there.
