Holy moly, I don't know what is in this stuff but it makes dark spots, hyperpigmentation, melasma disappear in just days!! And honestly I do not know how it does it because I did not experience ANY peeling from this stuff. And I am no stranger to dark spot correctors, serums, soaps, you name it, I have tried everything under the sun to make my dark spots go away and nothing ever worked. And most things dry out and make my skin peel which only causes MORE dark spots! I've been trying things for years, ever since I hit my late 30s and started getting spots. I'm Asian so dark spots are the way we show our age. I have melasma so I have to be really careful about the sun or I will get a sun mustache, and I also suffer from hormonal acne so often have hyperpigmentation from fresh acne. Finally, I'm also just blessed with skin that pigments from any irritation at all. So in trying several dark spot correctors including several that LRP creates, I overdid it and caused a ton of irritation that then led to even MORE hyperpigmentation to correct than before I started!! Well, enter this serum. I started it a week ago after seeing one reviewer's pictures saying she saw fading within HOURS. Shout out to her because she included pictures and I wanted so bad to believe her hours long claim, so I purchased this serum right away. Well it took more than a few hours for me to notice a difference, but I will say I noticed fading probably starting the next day. But I wasn't sure if it was just wishful thinking or if I was really starting to see imporvement. But now, a week later, it's clearly visible in my before and after pictures. The fading is unquestionable, in any light I take photos in. I'm still in disbelief about how fast it was and the fact that I didn't have any irritation. If my skin didn't peel how did the spots disappear?! Is this how skin bleaching works?? If so, forget trying to make thousands of layers of skin peel unnaturally, just bleach it instead! I gotta say I'm glad I blindly trusted the reviews and marketing of this product, because IT WORKS!! BUY THIS NOW! YOU WONT REGRET IT.

These products have already made a significant difference on my skin in only two short weeks. I am so pleased! I had discoloration from years of sun exposure and I’m now returning to my original skin tone.

This works with me using it nightly or every other night. I do notice it does tingle or burn a bit when I use it after my toner so there is mild skin irritation. I am seeing results !

I use other LaRoche-Posay skincare products and love them. This one irritated my skin so I had to stop using it. On the positive side, for what it is, the price point is a decent value.
