They do an excellent job at hydrating and taming my beard. I have a rather large beard, over a year’s worth of growth. My beard is very coarse and thick. About a pea size is enough to give me full coverage if the humidity is high. I can do with a little less in lower humidity. The best way to describe the scent is “herbal,” with a small drop of fennel. It’s not loud or overpowering. No one has ever mentioned it, but I have gotten feedback on cologne. I’ll give this a four out of five because I wish the scent was a little stronger.
