Therapist's ChoiceSoft to The Touch Felt Hot & Cold Pack (10"x13")

I bought this product 3 years ago and it’s still going strong even though I use it 4-7 times a week for post back surgery pain. Yes it does freeze hard, so make sure you lay and press it flat before putting in the freezer, then you won’t have to worry about laying on it all hard and wrinkled up. But the felt is great because it won’t sweat all over you! And it stays very cold for well over an hour, but keep in mind you are only supposed to use it for 20 minutes at a time. It’s also nice to sleep on in the summer so long as it’s not totally frozen when you do that. I have never used it for hot therapy, so I can’t comment on that. I just use my heating pad when I want heat.

Have used this ice pack for years now - they do wear out over time but we put it to good use. This one is great for the neck or any extremity. It's super cold but bearable and the fabric is so gentle on an injury. Highly recommend.

I wish it were a little more flexible after being frozen. It does become pliable after being left out of the freezer for about 5 minutes. However, you do need to wait before wrapping an ankle, for example.

This is large and will cover a very large area. I keep mine mainly in the freezer. It works exactly as one would expect. I gt this one to replace an old one. I use this all the time. The price is good and it does what you would expect . I will buy again and recommend it to anyone looking at it.

I bought several of these at the same time. I am not particularly satisfied with this one because it is literally a brick. It freezes hard. It stays cold for about 20 minutes, and the coating is good enough to use without a towel, but it's very difficult to use when it's that hard. Also, none of these things come with weights or even strings to attach weights to hold them on your neck, so you end up holding the neck pad in place with an arm, which causes your neck to hurt, which is why you are using the neck pad in the first place.

Search for pads that stay soft when cold....critical.....those other ones are useful right out of the freezer, and stay cold a long time....NOT THESE ONES...THESE ONES ARE TERRIBLEThese are NOT the soft ones. They are hard until they warm up....therefore their useful time is only a few minutes IFF you time the warming of the pad right, and place it in a place that will afford even, slow warming.We used these until we found a better one on Amazon. Now we only use these in emergency, as both of use need cooling packs, sometimes regularly.

Durable and effective.

After back surgery I needed a hot cold pack that was comfortable and soft. I searched Amazon and found exactly what I needed. I bought 2 and was so happy with them I bought a case of 10. That was in 2014. I still have all but 4. I gave friends those. Best heat and cold pack I’ve ever used. They are also biodegradable.I’ve never had any issues with the felt tearing or splitting.
