Beware
I bought this laptop with a Windows 10 Pro "upgrade" included in the Amazon description. I received the laptop with the product key for Windows 10 Pro. However, I kept getting an error that I had an invalid product key when trying to upgrade to Win 10 Pro. Long story short, after talking to Microsoft they explained to me that the product key I had was an OEM product key and not an upgrade product key, hence the error. I ended up having to do a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro in order to "upgrade". I'm fairly technical so I don't mind going through the motions of a fresh install, but it could be frustrating for others.I gave this a five star rating because it is a very nice device and Amazon support was amazing! Even though it was not their problem to solve they connected me with Microsoft, who was able to help. HP support was not helpful at all.Edit: The vendor ended up solving my problem in the end. I contacted them over the weekend and they responded with a new upgrade key that worked. If you have problems upgrading just go straight to the vendor. They should be able to issue a new upgrade key.

Wrong color, but ok. Exactly what I want by lagging in two areas, plus QA missed one.
Update. Not only was it the wrong color but did not have windows 10 pro, just Home... a problem I noticed when setting up docker. I sent a request for a key and no response in two weeks. Love the functionality for school and docking at home, hate the screen and with a recent windows update manually turning down the fans isn't as easy but functionally this laptop is awesome.Shipping was confirmed for a Tuesday and required signature, therefore once it was shipped and I received confirmation therefore would Work From Home that day to sign. Turns out the laptop didnt arrive til Thursday and due to meetings I could not reveice it that day and did on Friday. Problem is I was leaving the country Saturday and they sent me the wrong color laptop, Blue, not the ordered Dark Ash (The pen I received as Ash). This meant I had to ditch the boxes for the drip and immediatly put the laptop into use since I needed one over the two weeks, had I received on the scheduled day I could have sent it back and bought the rightt color one at bestbuy for a small price hit.Pros:Functionally the best laptop I ever used as a student.Good power for the thickness.Love the numpad.Full HDMI and USB A.USBC charging, confirmed with 3rd party 90w charger and c hub.Touch gestures and pen work great. Can get through school day on battery.Cons:Not win 10 proPhysical Color/ shipping accuracy - store specific.Screen by far, pictures looks great, has enough brightness, but blurry during quick movements scrolling/gaming, questionable refresh rate.Using usbc and A at the same time is questionable due to proximity and even the back corner one can get ubstructed by the screen.Recommendation: Works great overall, and the screen itself is fine for netflix. If you game just use an external monitor and you'll be quite happy. If you must game on the laptop screen grab the OLED panel on when it comes out shortly for the extra $$ and 1650 gpu.

Nice laptops but Win 10 Home to Pro upgrade process may be more than you want to deal with
I have updated this review from 1 to 3 stars. Something to be very aware of is these ship with Windows 10 Home with an upgrade key to Pro.The short story: This is a headache you might want to avoid and just find this laptop that ships with Pro. The vendor took care of it but it took a few days of back-and-forth.Long story: Out of five of these I ordered for a small business none of the keys that were included worked. The vendor was able to replace the keys after a few days of back-and-forth e-mails but it's a tricky situation you may need to be patient with... Apparently they buy bulk license keys purchased from a third-party (in other words these don't come with a key dedicated just to them that was shipped with it from HP), at least in my case, and apparently sometimes people take advantage of that and use the key more than once (so my assumption is by the time I got mine all uses of they key had been taken). Again the vendor after a slight delay was able to get me a new key and I eventually got all 5 laptops updated to Pro although in two occasions it has lost the key and I had to re-enter it. It wasn't just a power up the laptops and away we go situation though! The laptops themselves are really nice and run great once you get rid of McAfee (and potentially deal with the above headache). They look really nice, I'm not sure they're the most durable (the really nice milled edges already have a minor scuff and it's mostly just sat at my desk).

Very pleased so far as a multi-function computer.
I bought this primarily for work and it has functioned great so far. No hiccups with running photoshop or Autocad. I use the touchscreen often for browsing, very responsive. I also use it in tablet mode at home to stream movies-so the foldability is great. Has a sturdy build and I like the chamfered corners - it is a nice design. LOVE the keyboard with the functional number key pad on the right side - so nice to enter numbers with this vs henpecking the top ones! Like the lit keyboard selections. Cons... only 1 usb port which is used by my mouse, so for flash drive or accessories had to buy a usb-c converter dongle. Would be convenient to have a SD card slot too... but that's manageable. Wish the volume had a bit more umpf. Overall I am impressed with this laptop over the 2 months I have had it.
