We purchased this system almost 4 years ago. We love the system and the batteries are just now starting to weaken. We live in the country with plenty of hills and trees. We set the distance at 120 yards which is as far as the dogs can go without getting on the county road. We have never used the shock feature and the dogs respect the vibration setting. So, the system is durable and the batteries are good for years. They advertise the batteries to stay charged for 12 hours but it's actually longer than that.

This is an amazing product! We were going to put in underground fencing but found this product , was easy to train my very headstrong dog to, now he knows his boundaries and doesn’t go past them

The collar that came with the remote connected immediately. This add-on collar will not connect. Have contacted the distributor and have not heard back yet.Update: The seller had emailed, but the emails were flagged by the spam filter. Once we were in contact, they responded quickly and professionally. The new collar connected to the transmitter immediately. So far so good. The only reason there are not 5 stars is that the original product did not work. This is not a reflection on the seller, but on the manufacturer.

I had to order another collar because the cover to on/off button disappeared one day. The strap/collar comes apart very easily and then I am trying to push a raveling collar through the slot

Do not buy this product from this distributor! When the system works it is awesome, but sadly the "add on collar" has been one headache after another. It has not worked correctly since purchase. The company we bought it from would not take it back and told us to send for repair to the manufacturer. So, after not having it for 3 weeks it worked for 1 day and now will not work again. We have spent almost $1000 on a system that will not work, we cannot return the collar for a new working one and the manufacturer wants the entire system now sent in for repair....could be 3 to 4 weeks (again) with out the collars for our dogs.....if you can find a company that will replace the collar if it is not working then I recommend it highly, otherwise do not purchase...we purchased in January and still do not have a system that works, after sending in for repairs once already...

Works great on our acreage. We have a golden retriever who started going to our neighbors house. We wanted him to be able to run and use our property to his advantage to explore and burn off energy but didn't want him to be able to get on or cross the road. This was the perfect answer. You can set the perimeter as large as you want and it's kept him home ever since!

Very pleased with the product and its packaging. I like the wide range in stimulation, I have a bluetick that is stubborn. I have to crank it up for him but it gets the job done. He would just twitch his ear a bit with the other brands I tried.We have a lot of coyotes here,I bought this and an extra collar so I can run my dogs loose. My old yard dog done this job for 7 years without any worries. This past October he chased a coyote onto the highway and got killed. That morning I bought what I believe to be the best collars with the features I wanted. $1,000.00 won't bring my Bear dog back but it won't happen again.I also bought the add on extra collar, I set a GPS waypoint with a 300 yard radius behind my pasture and I can let 2 of my dogs run 90% of my 22 acres and part of my neighbors property. This thing will stretch out to 800 yards in any direction, that's a big dog run.

I had trouble "syncing" this with the handheld unit initially because I did not read the extra instructions thoroughly. However, once I did, it worked exactly as it stated it would and I have been very happy with it thus far. (We have been using it approx. 2-3 months now.)
