Modiano Texas Poker Hold'em 100% Plastic Playing Cards, Jumbo Index, Poker Wide Size

I host a weekend poker game that has been going on since 1999...Sometimes we play 2 or 3 times a week..we prefer “the jumbo size” index decks, because of my large table that seats up to 10 players, and players especially sitting on the ends of the table have a hard time reading the regular size...I have bought and tried just about every brand of 100% plastic playing cards “out there” over the years, and FOR THE PRICE, these are my CARDS OF CHOICE...Sure, you can (and will) spend more for ALL OF THE OTHER BRANDS, and I admit there ARE other cards that we use that are EXCELLENT as well, but if you want a good, thick, durable, long lasting deck of cards that don’t “break the bank” these are the ones...They have held up even BETTER than some of the more expensive cards...And they come in a wide assortment of colors, so if you don’t want blue, you can EASILY find the other colors (Red, purple, green, orange, etc. etc.) thru AMAZON....So what are you waiting for? Order these cards already and let’s “SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL”!

They're very durable, great-feeling cards. They don't just feel like plastic, they have a papery texture. It's extremely satisfying to shuffle them since they are a bit springy, and it's addicting. The box is a bit bigger than the cards are (about around 5mm more than standard Bicycle card box) and so they may shift around inside it, and it doesn't close the best. The cards are still the normal size though. But the box doesn't matter, it's the cards themselves that are amazing. I highly recommend these cards even above the other brands like Copaq and Ken due to their more reasonable price for such high quality.

Awesome set of playing cards. We play weekly poker games and these cards see a lot of use. They shuffled so smoothly and can take a beating. They are also beautiful to look at.

These are really nice cards. I prefer the feel of them to a couple of decks of Copag 1546 that I've got. My only complaint, and the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is that there seems to be some sort of cutting imperfection on my deck that results in there being 2 cards that just barely don't sit perfectly flush on the side of the deck, which means you can cut straight to them after shuffling if you want to. Not something you want to see if you are playing poker, for instance. Without that problem, these would be my new favorite cards by a lot. I assume I just got unlucky with this one and intend to get another deck or two of these.

Modiano's are some of the best cards I've ever bought. Although I do think they are owned by the same company as Copag, since the jokers are identical! Anyway, these are still great cards, and I would never go back to buying paper cards again. Once you go to plastic, you never go back to paper.

Purchased these based on the positive reviews. While these appear to be a quality deck, I cannot seem to get used to the feel of these in my hand. I have had plastic playing cards before and were very happy with them but they have recently turned up missing so I searched Amazon for the best reviewed plastic cards and these seemed to be what everyone liked but these just feel different. Not quite sure why, just feel different.

I've played for years and have been through a lot of cards.....Kem, copag, Davinci. These cards are solid and seem to hold up well even in smokey card rooms. Solid cards for sure.

Modiano has lived up to the rating with this deck of jumbo index playing cards! Great feel, durability and visibility. I’m a new found fan of the jumbo index style card after seeing how big a difference this deck made at a recent 10 player poker table. I switched to this deck at the first blind raise and by the time the next blind raise came due every player requested to keep this deck in the game.

These cards are a great value, as comparable decks can cost twice as much. The variety of colors was their selling point for me. No warping or bowing plus they don't smell.
