used as replacment in a cuisinart BFP 650 motor, it fits perfecly and has worked adequately for long time now.the only difficult part of the repair was removing the damaged coupling, it took some effort to cut both the plastic and the copper core of the coupling as it was rather stuck and wouldn't budge.

These are prefect replacement for the OEM part.

I almost threw out my blender after the blade broke. I looked up the blades online and there was instruction on how to take out the old blade and put in the new. After reading the instructions I tried taking out the old blade. I was able to remove it and install the new one when I received it. Thanks for the instructions or I would. have thrown the blender out.

Contrary to another review (and the description of the product) this does not fit the SB-650 bottle end - only the base. It is also not rubber, despite what the description says.

I have had my Cuisinart blender for nearly 20 years. It has been used very much! So much that the drive coupling on the unit broke. I first thought, why would they make this important part that took the heaviest load, out of hard plastic material? It's bound to break! Maybe the plastic was sort of a shear bolt system?Anyway, due to being busy, I set my blender aside and thought I likely would have to throw it out. So crazy considering I only needed that plastic drive.Well, I once again checked out Amazon and typed in 'drive coupling for Cuisinart blender'. And I couldn't believe that they had a replacement! I ordered, received, installed and I was back in business!Thank you so much!

The broken Blender Drive is not the normal righty tighty, lefty loosy. It is left hand threaded. The broken blender drive broke in half. Leaving a brass left hand threaded piece that has splines. I checked the threads on the replacement Blender Drive figuring this piece was left hand threaded anyway. It would screw off every time you used the multi purpose blender if the original Blender Drive was right hand threaded. The brass piece came off easily. I used a 1/4 “ drive 3/8” twelve point socket. I lightly tapped the 3/8” socket on the splines of the brass piece. Just enough to grip it. I used a cordless impact driver set to turn the right. The brass piece came right off. You get two replacement blender drives. I think you get two, if you chop a lot of ice. Will be hard on the blender drive. The old blender drive lasted over 20 years before it broke. I was surprised this part is still being sold. My wife and I use the Cuisinart BPF-703 a lot. It is a multi purpose blender, vegetable shredder, herb grinder,Etc. It makes excellent smoothies. This Cuisinart Multi purpose blender came with different attachments. The one attachment I use regularly. Is the one cup piece that screws onto where the blender normally goes. It chops herbs and garlic excellent.
