GalcoMiami Classic II Shoulder System for Glock 17, 22, 31

Outstanding holster--even better than what I expected (and for the price I expected quite a bit). I've never used a shoulder rig before, but after following the break in instructions for the holster and the mag pouches I decided to put it on in the morning with my fully loaded Glock 22 and two additional full magazines, intending to wear it for only an hour or so to start what I thought would be a reasonable, slow paced break in process for the harness. To my surprise, it was so comfortable and the (considerable) load so well distributed, that I comfortably wore it all day--to the range, running errands, driving, and for a long walk--at times almost forgetting I had it on."You get what you pay for," as they say, and in this case, it is well worth the money. I am especially pleased that it allows for such easy transition into and out of a vehicle while allowing instant and easy access to my weapon should I ever need it while driving. Wearing the rig (black) over a dark t-shirt with a loose fitting, open shirt worn over that conceals the whole thing very effectively. Assembly and sizing was quite simple. The holster and the mag pouches are still a little stiff and grabby on day two, but I've ordered a bottle of Galco Draw EZ, which--judging from the product reviews--I'm confident will have everything fine tuned to perfection in no time.

This Miami Classic II shoulder rig is just as comfortable, as my original Miami Classic, that I Still have and wear, since I purchased it, in 1996. I recently retired, as a police officer/ (Homicide) Detective, after nearly 30 years (24.5 as a Detective), and wore the Classic for most of that time. These shoulder rigs are made of top quality material, and the only thing I have to do with my Classic, is maybe touch it up with a little wax/polish, to brighten it up again. NO scuffs, worn leather ( other than becoming softer), loose snaps, screws or stitching. And, I’ve had the original for 24 years! Hopefully, I’ll get 24 years out of this one.

Although I have moved to Arizona, I still use this rig everyday. When I was in the North East I used this rig a lot under a zip up sweat shirt. It is very comfortable and even though I did not use snaps to secure it to my belt I was able to get clean draws (in a safe area with no one around of course). The only things I do not like (and the reason for 4 stars) was trying to get my second mag out of the bottom mag carrier is next to impossible unless I use two hands and wiggle the mag out. That is NOT something I want to be messing with if god forbid I need to. The mag in the top carrier comes out just fine and stays put just fine, even when I jump around. My weapon fits snugly and securely in the rig. Right now due to my location change I have retired it to my bed post. The rig hangs there and holds my weapon secure with mags. This is still a great rig and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good shoulder rig.

I love my galco miami classic. This is a great holster for people who live on a farm and ranches it's the best holster. I am glad I bought.

I haven’t had to actually draw from this holdster in a real situation. However, my Glock 22 fits perfect and it looks really cool. The magazines are a little too snug though. They take some work to get out. Maybe over time it will work better. I got the black one.

Excellent quality leather product. Comfort is very acceptable considering what you are carrying around.... however, I purchased this with the intention of concealing. In fairness, I’ve never owned a shoulder holster so it’s not necessarily a problem specific with the brand or model. My complaint is just that it’s nearly impossible to conceal unless you’re wearing a coat. With a half buttoned, x-large shirt over my rig, it makes my profile very wide and protrudes a lot from the base of the pistol grip. I’m carrying a glock 22, so it’s definitely not an easy gun to conceal with summer attire in any rig. So my complaint is not so much with the quality or comfort of the holster, but rather it’s ability to be reasonably concealed. It may just be that what I’m trying to accomplish is unreasonable, but these things are marketed for the intent of concealment.

Been wearing one of these for 30+ years, starting with my time on the police department and still wearing today. It is the greatest shoulder holster made, in my opinion. It is so comfortable and provides easy access to both the weapon and the magazines. I would recommend to everyone.
