Great answer to keep budgie warm without light. Downside, like everthing else it seems , made in China. Looked everywhere to avoid, but cant find other than China. Always look for alternative and support UK if possible.

I don't like to use the term "cheap Chinese rubbish", but these can only really be described as that. It worked for only 2 months, then one of the wires burned off its own connection and that was that. The smoke would also imply it has little to no safety checks and is a fire hazard.I kind of hope more legitimate suppliers in the market make their way to Amazon one day and sell their wares for people that need reptile supplies, as at the moment, we're kind of trapped with these things going by the sheer number of them being listed. Weed this lot out of the market.

I got this fitting and the guard itself bent really easily and the fitting has blown 4-5 bulbs over a few month period so I'm now having to buy a new fitting for the vivarium as well as another new bulb and had to replace the guard almost immediately. Does in a pinch but better off spending extra money and getting a better quality one.

Got this a wee while ago for my leo but only starting to use it now as my old leo died . So far its works great my 6 week old leo loves it he/she sits ontop of his we bridge under it.

I bought this after getting sick of bulbs giving up the ghost. I was able to fix it up to the thermostat in my snake's viv and it does a great job in keeping the temperature right for him.

I somehow knew this was going to be a dud. Chinese manufacturer, no English instructions anywhere on the box - looked really cheap. Worked well at first, then went stone cold after 9 days. Do not buy!
