Paper Fashion Basics Paints

Lovely colors which was what I expected. The set is much smaller than I wanted. Can refills be purchased for the mini tin?

I am just a paper crafter, not an artist, so I was just looking for a simple set of watercolors to make cards with. This set is great. I have gotten great results and the colors can be very vibrant if you want. I am not super fond of the shade of green that comes in this set but, that being said, I just mix a green that works for me depending on what I am making. I love all the rest of these colors and I would definitely recommend these, especially to beginners or non painters.

Love these colors - just add water and get to painting. The palette of colors is spot on for most projects. I love the travel tins box similar to Confections watercolors in texture and intensity. Happy to have these for fast projects that I don’t need to create mixed colors for. Pretty! Pretty easy!

I have quite a collection of watercolor paint sets, but for now, I am using these paints. The tin is small and fits within my work area better than larger sets. I am just a beginner, but the quality seems good and the colors are vibrant.

The pigment on these paints is 👌🏼. Love that about them, they are hyper pigmented and most are pretty true to the swatch on the paper (the yellows in mine are a little off), but the paint itself has kind of a cheap, grainy feel to it. It’s hard to get that smooth, detailed and blended look with them. Once layered it does feel like it needs to be sanded down instead of having a smooth look and feel to it. Kind of odd...The tin they are in is seriously awful. This set is super tiny- like super tiny. Thankfully the pans are filled to overflowing so there’s quite a bit of paint, but it was still smaller than I expected. The actual tin though is cheap feeling and the pans wiggle around everywhere in there. Love the colors And how pigmented they are... but that’s about it.

This was a great watercolor set if you want to just sit and do a watercolor without getting all of your supplies out. The colors are vibrant with the ability to mix for more colors on the trays that are part of the container.

I knew this would be small, but I wasn't expecting it to be THIS small. either way, they are highly pigmented and I know it will last a long time. Im very pleased. highly recommended.

When used on watercolor paper, the results are amazingly vibrant colors! Small case makes for easy traveling! Definitely would buy these paints again!
