Sad to Finish This Series. Absolutely LOVED it all
OK when I started this 8th and final book in the I Heart Series I drastically took my time...I didn't want this to end! It's been a crazy, fun, and heart-warming journey with Angela, Alex, and Jenny. This would be an amazing TV adaptation. I'm so sad it's over!!! This is now one of my favorite series of all time.

Favorite
This was my favorite in the series. It is also a big chunk of what happens in other books in the series as well as other independent novels written by her. I really enjoyed the storyline here and there introduction of the characters. If you're for some reason contemplating whether or not continue with the series, read this them decide because this was my favorite.

Bad language - too much profanity
I thought I was buying a Christian novel. The author used a lot of bad language. I won't be buying any more of her books.

Not for me.
I started this, but couldn't get past the storyline and it's irrelevance to anything in my life. Not really about Hawaii, it's a chick flick in book form. Cute, but not for me.

Summer read
Cute read about girl friendships and no matter what happens girlfriends are there to support each other. I hadn’t read any of the other books in the series yet and I wasn’t lost.

Super read about friendship
Captured the many facets of friendship and what it means to be a friend. Loved meeting the characters in this book. My first by this author, but won't be the last.

The perfect final chapter of a brilliant series!
Now if you’ve never read an ‘I heart.....’ book then I’m telling you now I cannot not give you spoilers. This story is the last chapter in the series. It is book 8 and the last in the series which has covered a span of 10 years so I will try not to give spoilers but due to generally progression through the series I can’t keep some things a secret. So if you don’t want to know anything about the series please turn away now. But for those of you tuned in and ready to find out what happens next then here goes.....Angela wakes up in bed at her parents home in England. No Alex, no Alice and a strange sort of feeling in her gut. An immediate ‘Oh Angela’ sprang to mind and a crushing feeling in the pit of my stomach.Luckily, Kelk flashes back to a year ago and the story that gets us to this moment; giving us a whole novel to murmur a lot more, ‘Oh Angela’s’.Angela has finished her maternity leave and is back off to work for old nemesis, Cici. On top of this she gets accosted by the classy MOB (Mother’s of Brooklyn) and quickly finds trying to juggle motherhood, work and the general perils of life pretty intense. Teamed with a splash of FOMO when Jenny clicks with her new boss Paige, Angela agrees to an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii to spend some quality time with her best friends and a little rest and relaxation. In true Angela Clark fashion, the trip does not go exactly as imagined. Jenny seems to be avoiding her, Alex is mad she’s gone away and Angela gets posed the opportunity of a lifetime from an unlikely source.I received an ARC for ‘I Heart Hawaii’ from the lovely Lindsey Kelk and awesome people an Harper Collins UK. Having met Lindsey at a book signing and following the adventures of Angela for the past 10 years I was so excited to have been given this opportunity. This book had more than a few laugh out loud moments (yes I did receive weird stares on the train home but I don’t care) and yet finished the series off perfectly. A story that ultimately thrives on relationships and how these develop and are maintained between partners, friends and families.Angela, Jenny and the gang have been firm staples in my life for so long that I’m not sure what I’ll do now. However, they will forever live on my bookshelf in all their beautiful colour. Thank you Lindsey for creating the dream team and letting me live through Angela. This was a 5 star read and a series I would wholeheartedly recommend.

I loved it... But..
I'm a massive fan of Lindsey Kelk and I think all her books have the same premise of someone that seems to have it all, makes a mistake and then has to scramble to fix it, while still capturing the audience.I really enjoyed this book and massive shout out to a Paige Toon character in this that was a real Easter egg! But for me it feels a bit bland and well, Meh.I mean, we didn't see much of Jenny in this even though she had a big part about her, and also it just felt lacking in that certain spark. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the book but it just felt like a piece of soul was missing.

I Heart Hawaii
This is the 8th full length novel in @LindseyKelk’s I Heart Series, this time set in Hawaii. This time around we join Angela, Jenny and Louisa on a “work” trip to Hawaii. As usual Angela gets herself into all sorts of situations but in only the way Angela can she gets herself out of it. Angela is probably one of my all time favourite characters. She’s a normal girl, down to earth and pretty clumsy - which I really relate to! In this book we get to see more of Angela as a mother and with her little family. The arc that Angela’s character has made throughout the series is inspirational and ugh, really can we just be friends already?! This book shows the depth of bond between the characters both in Angela’s friendships and in her marriage to Alex. We’ve seen them go through a lot together and I loved getting back to this group. The group stay at the home of Bertie Bennett. If you’ve read any of Lindsey’s stand-alone novels you might recognise him and I really liked how the series linked to the stand-alones. Each book in the series has a different setting, every one of them well written and has the ability to make you wish you were there! I remember seeing the trip Lindsey took to Hawaii so I remember where some of the inspirations for parts of the book came from. The first book in the series - ‘I Heart New York’ - inspired my love for New York and I love seeing the city through Angela’s eyes. It’s my favourite place in the world and a lot of this is thanks to Lindsey! Returning to this series is like getting together with an old friends. It’s like a comfort blanket for me in the form of books. I have read and re-read this series and I’ll never stop loving it.

Least favourite in the series
I've absolutely loved the entire I Heart series so was really sad for it to end. In short, I think I Heart Hawaii is a great read (I read it in 2 days whilst on holiday!) but I can't help but feel the actual storyline was really boring and parts were really dragged out. I was hoping for more of an emphasis on Angela being a parent. I was really disappointed with the ending, it felt really rushed. Regardless, I love the characters, there are some funny moments and I'm sad that this was the last book in the series.

Sooo sad it has come to an end!
I discovered the i heart book when it came free in magazine ( i heart new york). I have been hooked on the series ever since! It was a great ending to the series but, I Heart Hawaii was mediocre compared to the others. Wasn't much of a page turner to be fair. Saying this though it was nice to see how other lives of Jenny and Angela have panned out in the end. Lindsey Kelk is a very talented writer and she is descriptive in her writing so you are never lost at what is going on in her books.Looking forward to another boom from her
