I love this hair product! I have curly hair and it’s thinning due to a health issue and it frizzes easily. This leaves my hair silky smooth and moisturized and the smell is clean scented and not overpowering at all. My hair does not get oily when I use this and leaves my hair frizz free and bouncy and shiny. I used to use when years ago and I found this better then and more cost effective. I rinse it out with warm water and apply again then I rinse with cool water but I don’t rinse it all out so some remains in my hair and it’s perfect! It’s a little pricey but I believe well worth it and you don’t need a lot when using it. It’s a staple in my home!

I received this in my glossybox. My hair is long, thick, frizzy and coarse. After the first use I noticed my hair less frizzy and glossy and beautiful After three days my hair still looked clean and glossy. I used other products like this but they did not work at all. I will reorder. Yes it's pricy but you getting shampoo and conditioner in one. I also am only using 2 quarter size amounts and like I saud have long thick hair. Just try using less. It not suppose to lather so out it in your hair and massage in and wait couple minutes then wash out. and you have gorgeous hair. I let my sister use some and she too fell in love. I did not even know she used this and when I came home I said omg your hair is so shiny and clean looking and glossy. She said yea I tried your unwash. She been using Wen products for couple years and unwash made her hair so much glossier than her Wen products. Update I have long thick hair and I use Nickle size and massage on top then use Nickle worth product and then massage up on the on the back of my head. I massage in for couple minutes then put it up in a clip and shave legs or shower then take clip out of hair massage again then rinse out. My hair stays cleaner and shiner longer. My hair so clean that every strand stands out. Now I noticed another benefit. It has been 5 weeks since I colored my hair and onky have couple grey hairs showing. When I was using high dollar shampoo for treated hair at 3 weeks my grey would pop back through. So I can now go twice as long without dying my hair. Still have half bottle left so it should last me 4 months so 27 dollars for both shampoo snd conditioner for 4 months is a value. Plus not coloring my hair as often but the biggest benefit is my head is not itching anymore , I noticing less hair falling out (54 yr old ) Every strand of my hair stands out, shiny , glossy and don't have to use a lot to get clean hair. My hair less frizzy and HAIR LOOKS LIKE 20 yr old head of hair.

I have extremely curly hair. Thick and dry. Washing it makes it worse. I purchased Unwash Bio Cleansing to try and co wash and this was a good decision. My scalp is clean. The hair is clean and no shampoo dried it out. Co washing my hair helps me to maintain soft curls. Less frizz. The summer and humidity in the Midwest can be hard on my hair. Unwash helps me maintain my curl and the hair looks and feels soft and healthy. I highly recommend this product.

I am pleasantly surprised by this product! I have fine hair, but it is dense. Which means there is a lot of it, and it becomes tangled and damages easily. It has always been somewhat difficult to style, and that has become worse since pregnancies. The texture is party kinky, part totally straight. Bleached and color treated. I pretty religiously use "good quality" salon shampoos & conditioners for color treated hair. I typically wash every other day and I stayed on that schedule with Unwash, for 2 weeks. The lack of lather does not bother me at all. I apply it in sections, using about a quarter size amount on say a quarter of my head (may be too much product for some...I have a lot of hair. Start with less and add more). Then I rinse and repeat, and let the repeat sit on the hair while I finish the shower. Use detangling comb in the shower and give it a final brief rinse. Less time than my usual double shampoo & single condition. I was hoping the texture, both wet and dry, to be shinier/healthier, with this product. I find the hair has a weird consistency when wet, and it does dry faster...However, that being said, it is styling MUCH easier and has become easier to manage. Now, after 2 weeks of every other day use, I used regular shampoo just on my roots, just on the first shampoo. I felt I had some product buildup. Then did the second shampoo as usual, with just the Unwash. Those have been the best results yet. Hair styled nice on the first day, and doesn't look greasy on the second day. I think I will continue to buy this. For those who do not shampoo every day, I think the 2 shampoos are really critical. My hair overall has been much better since I started that, whether with regular shampoo/conditioner, or the Unwash. I don't dread washing and styling it anymore!

I've been using another brand of cleanser like this one for years,, but didn't like the way it made my hair smell. This one here smells awesome!! If this type of hair cleansing is new to you, remember, a LITTLE product is all it takes. I have very fine hair. It works great on fine hair if you use only a small amount. Remember, its not shampoo, and it doesn't lather. Rinse it out of your hair well. It will leave your hair soft, and no additional conditioner is needed. It does take a little getting used to, if you've never used this type before, but I've been using it for years now, and I love it. Small amounts, and rinse very well. Occasionally I've used one of my salon shampoos, and my hair is rough, and tangled. This type here leaves your hair combable, and soft. I've tried to get friends to give it a try, but they wont because it "doesn't lather ", lol. And yes, it does cost some $$, BUT, this bottle is huge and you only use a very small amount so it will last forever. And btw, the pump does work. Took me awhile to figure it out, but all you do is pull up on it, and turn counterclockwise, and voila, it pops right up ! Give it a try, its different but you will love it.

I’ve tried cowashes that were basically just conditioners and did not feel like my hair was washed at all. But this one actually feels like it cleans my hair without drying it out. I don’t feel the “squeaky” clean feeling from shampoo but in between shampooing this does help my hair still feel clean and doesn’t make my hair look weighed down or greasy. If you use hair products, you absolutely will still need a shampoo every so often in addition to this because it doesn’t completely get rid of product buildup. But my hair feels soft, and moisturized after using this. I will definitely purchase again.

This conditioning cleanser smells fresh and rinses nicely but I don’t think it does a thorough job of cleaning my hair. It also is hard to get enough through the tiny opening in the top. But it still will do. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

Okay, so it’s been a little over two months since I started using this. My first bottle is just now nearing the end of its life, but you better believe I’ve already ordered a second bottle. I’ve been bleaching and dying my hair for the past 15 years, and I’ve been lucky enough to not have had my hair fall out, but the damage was OBVIOUS to say the least. Being bleach blonde when your natural color is dark brown takes a lot of maintenance. I was bleaching at least monthly to touch up my roots. Needless to say, the damage was so bad that I had to get my hair cut a lot to maintain. By the time it hit my shoulders, it was so bad I would chop it off. Years of this, and I’m really missing long hair. So when I saw unwash, I thought I would give it a go, just like I do every time I see a “miracle cure.” The difference though, is this ACTUALLY WORKS! Now, for those reviews that say they tried it for a week and their hair felt gross, that’s because your scalp produces extra oil to replace everything you strip out with normal shampoos. If this happens, and it probably will, please, stick with it!! After a week or two your head will stop producing so much oils and you won’t have this problem anymore. Now remember I said I’ve been bleaching? Well, I decided to box dye my natural dark brown right around the same time I started with unwash. I can wash with unwash 100 times and none of my dye washes out! NONE! I ended up having to use regular shampoo one time, a few weeks ago, when I was away from home, and that single wash took so much of the color out that I now have lighter ends and a single blonde streak behind my ear. So hair dyers, UNITE! THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL! And no, I’m not even done yet! Years of bleaching and dying left my hair so dry, so unruly, frizzy, and thin. Two months of using this and for the first time in ten years I actually can leave my hair down after a shower and not worry that i look like a crazy person! My hair has a natural wave to it, so that damage just made my hair go crazy wild. My hair is so thick, so soft, and it’s actually growing much faster than I ever experienced before. I know this sounds like maybe I’m being paid to leave this review, but I can ASSURE you, this is 100% REAL! This stuff is the real deal you guys. I’ll never ever use another shampoo again.

Excellent conditioning shampoo. I'm a hairstylist and couldn't find it anymore at my supply place. Great for keeping colour longer and doesn't weigh the hair down. Great for travel

This a great shampoo for daily washing if you need a mild cleanser. Does not dry your hair or damage the color treatment.

Product leaves a heavy silicon-like film/build-up on hair, so I don’t like it, but my husband likes it. Went to purchase a new bottle for him and the price has more than doubled since I bought it a year ago. Boo. Will look elsewhere.
