Outstanding Hot Styling Brush And LOW WATTAGE too
Excellent ceramic hot brush. The design does keep the hot elements from coming too close to your scalp, but it still allows for good thermal straightening of your hair. IT's well weighted and well balanced and feels very comfortable in the hand, the power cord attachment is well thought out so you can easily switch hands when using it. The rating here includes "drying power" but this is not a hair dryer, it's a styling brush and must be used on dry hair that is pre-treated with a heat protectant (silicone "curl tamer" products work well for this). Don't ever ever use this on wet hair! You could burn yourself, because it will create very hot steam! And there is a risk of electrical shock because this is NOT designed to be a hair dryer! But if you use it as it's designed to be used, it is really excellent. The thermal readout in the handle is accessible and seems accurate. You will want a stand for this, as the back gets hot, but that is normal for this type of appliance. It's easy to turn on, easy to adjust temp settings, easy to turn off. And sturdy. And works extremely well. And on top of all this, it's very low wattage. 60 watts does the job. If you have an older home, or are watching your budget, or both, take a serious look at this little gem.

Works fast & gets pretty hot
*Pardon how crappy I look in these pics....it's 1am, but I wanted to post these results.* This brush works awesome! It can be tricky if you don't know how to manipulate your hair with the iron to give yourself your desired look. Also, you may not think it works properly if you aren't combing through correctly. You can't just brush through it like a regular brush & assume it'll magically make your hair straight. Since I have VERY long hair, I brush my hair on an angle pressing it into the brush & combing outward to make it flip. (Gives it extra bounce) My hair is to the middle/almost past my butt & it took me 30mins to completely straighten it! ....while still semi-damp!!! It usually takes longer when its damp, so needless to say I'm very impressed with this iron! Also, I really love that they made it so it's almost burn-proof! If you put your hand to the bristels while the heat is on (375°) you are protected, so no accidental burns. (At least not in my experience) Back of the iron can get hot though so be careful where you place it.

Not a miracle worker
Does this straighten my hair? Yes. Does it look as good as if I had used a regular straightening iron? No. Definitely not. This will basically make it look like you didn't just jump out of bed and wander outside. However, it doesn't provide the sleek, tame look that a real straightening iron would. It also doesn't seal the ends of your hair and actually damages them pretty bad. I used this for a few months on my curly hair when I would get out of bed and my hair looked horribly frayed and dry at the ends. It also didn't really save me that much time versus using an actual flat iron. I might keep this for one of my kids, who has straighter hair, to use; but it is not anything that I will ever use on a regular basis myself. I got my ends trimmed and went back to a flat iron and my hair looks sooooo much better, even three months out than it did after two months of using this hot brush.

Easy and quick straightening
So far I'm really enjoying this. I definitely prefer using a brush instead of a two plated straightener. I like that I can use it to take the frizz out of my hair. I have wavy, very thick, long hair. Although it doesn't make my hair quite as stick straight as my straightener, it still makes it how straight I'd like it for every day. It is actually much faster for me. It only take about 10 minutes as opposed to usual 15-18 with my regular straightener. And it feels really good to just brush my hair. Also, when you put it up against your scalp it doesn't burn you, or even feel hot. The back of the brush at the top gets a little hot, but that hasn't been a problem for me. Overall I like it and would recommend it to others.

Works really well!
I really like the automatic locking system.... no accidentally hitting the temp button and decreasing or worse yet increasing the brushes heat temp! The automatic shut off after 30 min of inactivity is a great safety device. And this comb really straightens and smooths the hair quickly. You get the best straightening if you place the brush under the hair and move it upward. For a smoothing effect, use the brush in the normal way and brush down. Best part.. no chance of a singed scalp although the hand handling the just straighten hair is going to get warm! Only wish I could get a replacement set of instructions as turning the brush off can get a little tricky if you don't use it every week. Great product. I definitely recommend.

Great Product, Just read the instructions
I am very skeptical when it comes down to heated brushes, flat irons, hair dryers and stuff. I did a lot of research and decided to give this one a try. Just as I mentioned in the title , READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to turn it off, but once you understand how it works it's easy. Good thing that it has the lock option, in that way if you forget the device won't keep burning hot. I have regular hair, not to thin not to thick, I used the glove that comes with it and also the hair pins, they are very useful to divide the hair and iron the right amount. Please detangle your hair before use this hair straightening brush, it would be easier this way. Recommend strongly!

BOMB
I don't usually write reviews but this one needs to be stated. This is a great price point and I expected it to maybe be a little shotty because it wasn't 50+ dollars, BUT it works great, heats up fast, (make sure you wear a sock on your hand because your hair is going to get HOT) but aside from the hot sock hand this is an amazing product and not only straightened my hair perfectly (including my blunt bangs) but made it look way healthier than it is. Eventually I'd like to update the review with pictures but I'm almost embarrassed to show how awful my hair is pre-straightening. I'm now able to straighten my hair in like 5 minutes flat and feel pretty. No need to do little chunks, you just straight up brush your hair, take a handful, it really is awesome!
