I use one of the AUX inputs for my turntable. Works fine. I do have to increase the volume from the volume I use when playing CDS.

My TV has fixed audio out. This would let me raise the volume while using headphones, correct?

All you have to do is connect the tv audio out to the audio (aux) input of the power amp and you can adjust the volume as you desire while listening to headphones at the same time :)

how do i reduce or stop the buzzing humming noise?

well there are few answers for that qustion there i have this amp myself and i have no buzzing i have everything hooked up right evething i play though it is clear so all i can say is that you must not have somthing pluged into the amp right or did not switch it over maybe to the right setting or maybe the mic is to close or high set on the amp turn that all the way down keep the mic from the amp as well that mite make buzzing becouse of feed back i do not no what you have pluged into the amp unless you talking about tuner mode all the way to the right were you can listen to mp3 memory card or blue tooth and fm radio the radio has some static till you get the stations that don't or have a anitna that works good for it then buzzing and static and puping may go away and chanales come in clear thats all i can say check maybe youtube for awseres you may find videos on this amp and more amps that may help you more ok
