Is there any benefit of this product over the original Vaseline?

Yes this is medical grade pure white vaseline.I've been using it on a non healing surgical wound. It is much better and safer than conventional store Vaseline! Highly recommend!

I threw the item away because it was not sealed so I have no container to look at to see where it was made.

I have using this for my 18 month old since he was born, doctors recommended for diaper area. wnot recommend for lips.
