Would these pads take the seasoning off of a cast iron type finish flat top griddle?

I used this on a hot griddle with special cleaner, but read vinegar and water also works, and after some scraping and scrubbing mine looked brand new. My griddle is a stainless though. I also used these on some pots and they were helpful. I found some great videos on YouTube that helped me!

Can you safely use this on a porcelain cast iron grill grate?

I would not suggest using this pad. It would probably scratch the porcelain. Check with your manufacturer.

Has this product changed? We've used it in our restaurant for 5 years, but the pads are now lasting 1 cleaning at best before disintegrating.

I've had my awhile and they are still holding up. Probably don't use them as much as you do so I really can't equate.

How many pads are there?

15 But they are extremely durable and can clean a hot grill multiple times. Rinse after each use and let dry. Highly recommend!
