The media could not be loaded.  Instead of a fireplace, I use this in a planter. I’d like to cover the soil with some type of rocks or pebbles to keep nasty pest out and moisture in. A little expensive for a plant pot, however, I love them!

This product is beautiful and I imagine that it is great in a fireplace. I purchased this product to prevent a new family kitten from digging in our houseplants, The stones cover the soil and make a noise when the kitten tries to dig. As I said, not the intended purpose but a very attractive solution to a problem.

Very pretty. We previously had fractured glass but felt it was a danger to our puppies and grandchildren.

We weren't sure there would be enough - was more than enough (didn't all fit in fire-table).These are stunning! Love the mix... was able to pull all our patio colours into the mix (brown-rattan furniture, Blue-green for our plants, clear to balance). They have been "fired up" a few times now and no issues. No discoloration, no charring, no exploding (LOL)! Also, we LOVE the way the light plays off the stones! The reflections are mesmerizing!

These are cool, love the look in our propane firepit. Add a new element and sends you into a relaxing zone.

We made our own fire table by converting a fire pit into one that uses gel fuel in a small container surrounded by these stones. The stones arrived in great condition, three separate bags (clear, dark and caramel) and only a few chipped out of 10 lbs. They look great and the colour combination is especially pretty with the light from the fire bouncing off of the glass. In our configuration the fire doesn’t actually touch the stones directly but surrounds them to look like it is coming right out of the glass;I can’t speak to performance in direct fire contact like a gas fire table would be. I am very happy with this purchase.
