Make sure that you get that in your package. I only received the light in my package. I later realized that it was missing these items. I contacted the seller and they immediately shipped the missing parts. Without the adapter, you’re dependent on a battery that doesn’t come with it. I have used this with only a battery and as the battery dies, the light dims. If you’re using it to film a video, you will notice the change in lighting when you watch back the footage. Using the adapter will prevent this issue. So I recommend that you use the adapter or make sure that you have a very powerful long lasting battery. The light itself is great. It adds wonderful natural light.
