Review: Not bad! Good for the price. - I bought two of these, one for my 40" Samsung tv and one for my desk. I'll start with the tv. I bought the option that was supposed to fit up to a 47" tv, and it was just about perfect. Installation was very easy, I didn't even have to take the tv off the wall. I trimmed off a few inches off the end of the strip and it fit perfectly. The adhesive was not the best, but I just used electrical tape in the spots where the tape was weak. I really like that it turns on when I turn on the tv, and it remembers what color I had it set to when I turned it off. The color is nice, decent brightness. Nothing mind blowing, but for $12, it looks pretty good to me. For the desk, I ran the strip along the back of the desk and trimmed about 3' off the end of the strip. Ironically the adhesive on this one was very strong, so maybe the other one just didn't like the texture of the tv panel. The lights plug into my docking station which is convenient, and they stay on when I shut down my computer. I wasn't going for full on gamer/twitch streamer RGB, just wanted some ambient lighting while I work from home, especially since I don't have any windows in my home office. I think I achieved that. Lastly, the remote works fine. Just make sure you place the reciever in a spot that you can point the remote at it and it will receive the signal. On my tv, it just barely sticks out from the bottom of the tv and I can use the remote from across the room. The app is garbage, I took one look at it and deleted it. Overall, if you're looking to set the mood without dropping mad cash, these will do the job. Again, nothing spectacular, but for the cheap price, they worked better than I expected. I would buy them again.
Review: Works-easy to install - Got this to improve our viewing. I used masking tape to try this out before attaching permanently to our TV. When you've got it where you want it, just peel off the paper gradually - attaching it as you go. Do plan your corners as you can't easily make 90° bends. We don't use the multiple colors/light & music function, but they do work. The lights turn on and off with the TV. There is a several second delay after the TV goes off before the lights switch off. The off switch is handy if the lights are annoying during the day. Once you turn the TV off, the lights will com on again automatically the next time you turn the TV on. I did trim off about 8" from the end that I didn't need. Had to spend some time on the internet to discover that you need to cut through the copper leads (look like 4 dashes on the strip). If you cut anywhere else, you break the circuit and will get a chunk of dead lights. I am going to get another set of these lights to use on my computer monitor. I think it will make it easier on my eyes, especially at night. Can't beat the price.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: If I buy 2 packs for my tv, would I be able to control using 1 controller?**
A: I only bought one, but when you hook it up to your phone it is via Bluetooth so it has a specific name. Therefore, I would assume you could control both with the same phone.

**Q: would this work with my gaming pc or does that give it to much power**
A: Best use a USB on the monitor itself, but before that keep in mind the strip only needs about 5 volts.

**Q: Can this operate of a portable battery bank?**
A: No this requires a receptacle plug in! You can buy lights that use a battery pack, but not these ones

**Q: How do you get the app to sync with the lights?  I bought this in 2019, and jua now put it up. I tried the app happylighting but it doesn't auto sync.**

Please re-download "Happylighting" in appstore or google play, APP needs to be upgraded. And allow the APP to obtain the permission to turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, link the LED light in the device list of the APP, and then you can control it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great; a little challenging to install correctly.

The good: This LED backlight strip looks great installed and is as bright as you would like it with full adjustability for desired color and brightness. The result is a cool, evenly lit backlighting effect. There are many colors and modes to choose from and it turns on and off with the TV power. Once installed and adjusted to your taste you never need to touch the remote for it again unless you want to. We are very pleased and happy we purchased it. The not as good: I have an 80" TV so the adhesive light strip is over 16 feet long. Wrangling over 16 feet of super sticky strip lights was a comedy show for my family but I took my time and got it installed right. Also, you CANNOT bend the strip 90 degrees like the instructions show so play with the strip to figure out how you're going to go around the corners of the TV before exposing the adhesive. I didn't have one extra millimeter for my 80" TV so the strip didn't quite meet at the ends so be aware. Also it's a pro tip to expose the adhesive as you proceed with installing; don't expose the adhesive all at once. The remote works only 80% of the time but eventually does. Positioning of the IR sensor matters.
