Will these work on a through-body bridge design?

They work great on my body-through long-scale P-bass.

Got a 72 Tele string through the back are these long scale and will they fit ?

They are 34" (long scale), great strings! First time trying flat wound. For your 72 Tele, measure from the nut to the 12th fret, double the number and that's the scale length. If it's 34" or less, you are golden.
