Are they referencing this product for 15-17 lbs?** A: I have a shih tzu that weighs about 12-13lbs. I would not go any smaller for her. Honestly, any heavier like 20+lbs would be very hard to handle in this carrier, IMO **Q: How do you do the adjustable strap so it doesn't slide?** A: Feed the strap back through the other side of the slide---or put a safety pin in the strap to hold it in place. **Q: What type of closure does it have if any‽** A: No closure. It’s like a pouch. There is a clip to clip to your pet’s collar. **Q: Is it washable** A: I don't know if technically it is washable but I have cleaned mine twice on the gentle cycle and had no issues. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/136319646-ownpets-pet-sling-carrier-pet-sling-carrier-bag-safe-fit](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/136319646-ownpets-pet-sling-carrier-pet-sling-carrier-bag-safe-fit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
