Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation

This is my all-time favorite foundation!!!! I used to use 100% Pure foundation but even with the primer it would still look clumpy and not natural. The main thing I saw people complaining about for this foundation in reviews was that it's too sheer and I don't think so. Granted since before using this my skin has cleared due to chemical peels every few months and staying away from foods that I got back on my "food sensitivity test" (not allergy, sensitivity). But I do feel that you can apply several layers and it still looks natural. I don't even need a primer for this, it blends in so smoothly and it's very comfortable to wear but it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup, as much as humanly possible, and compared to anything else I've tried and I've tried everything from Sephora Bare Minerals powder to liquid foundation to compacts. Everything. This is by far my favorite. And I only discovered it because I asked my facial lady who does my chemical peels what she wears because her skin always looks radiant and so beautifully natural. Cost wise it's SO worth it. When I would buy the organic 100% Pure foundation I'd have to also purchase the primer so together it would be $48 (foundation) + $39 (Primer) = $87 which would last you the same amount of time, 2 months, as this makeup, which only costs $70. So you're definitely saving money compared to other organic makeups. And my skin hasn't broken out or gotten irritated or anything. I am absolutely sticking with this forever. So I hope they never stop making this!

It settles in pores and creases leaving an unflattering appearance. It does little to camouflage imperfections. I paid too much for these results.

OMG I saw this foundation as best for woman over 60 in Instyle magazine. It has changed my life. I get so many compliments on how young I look. I know it is a little pricey, but you use a tiny bit and it is so well worth it. Love it. Please try it.

I love this foundation. Where I live, I don't have access to big luxury stores. I am happy that I can buy it through this seller. It is expensive, but this foundation is the best among the US foundations. Nice coverage and lasts during the day. Gives a glowy finish.

I was very disappointed in this foundation based on the description and price. I did not think it gave a "dewy finish" or made the skin look plumb. Also the shade didn't seem to be the same as a sample I had tried. i was comparing it to Armani and Chanel foundations that i use and felt it didn't quite compare. Decided to return and wasn't even sure that I could, but Amazon refunded my purchase price. Doesn't get any better than that.

Coverage, texture, and overall consistency was very disappointing

Item came broken glass and leaking. In order to get any refund they require repackaging and return which makes no sense when broken and liquid leaking.

Beautiful, sheer foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly. I have very large pores in my nose and this foundation helps in this area. I like how natural it looks outside as well. Expensive but worth the money.
