BEWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS
Notice how most of the reviews look like they were written by the exact same person (sentence structure, word choice, etc)? Notice how half of them aren't even related to this product? I'm guessing the reviews are fake because this product does not meet expectations in the slightest. It's uncomfortable, the instructions/packaging are in very bad English and it does not make any noticeable difference on my posture aside from the fact that it cuts off circulation to my arms. I'll be returning this product ASAP. Lesson learned - always read and scrutinize the reviews before buying cheap Chinese crap like this.

Well-thought out fan speed controller
The product I received was not quite identical to the photo in the listing-- it appears they made some small tweaks to the design. The only thing of note is the listing appears to have the 4 speed dials spaced evenly, but the one I received has a gap between the middle, making it look like 2 groups of 2 speed controls. This is not a big deal for my use, and I still think it looks quite nice, but it is worth noting if aesthetics are an important factor in your build. As for functionality, it works quite well. It takes in 12V from a Molex plug, and uses a DC-DC conversion to vary the voltage provided to your fan. This is a cleaner setup than what many cheap 3-speed controllers do, and split the fan across the 12V and 5V rail to get the middle speed. The FETs (or transistors, I didn't bother checking the part number) have heat sinks, so they should be able to handle multiple fans (using splitters) without issue. I am running one channel this way, and if I have any problems I will post back. However, the design & build quality look good, and I don't foresee any issues. The potentiometers (adjustments) are smooth, with a satisfying "click" when turning the fan all the way off. And despite trying, I was unable to get the dial "halfway" off. So you know the fan is running, or you know it is off, there is no question. The dials also have a small silver line to indicate their position, allowing you to easily set multiple channels to the same speed, which allows you to balance a bank of fans to do the same work.Playing with the set-point, I can't find any non-linear or dead spots. The fans simply adjust smoothly to whatever speed you prefer. For as little as I paid, I was not expecting it to be this nice, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have this in a server case (NORCO RPC-4224) to slow down the fans, as they are quite loud at 12V. I was able to reduce the noise of the case by about half without any significant change in airflow (a receipt still sticks to the front of the case), all with the stock fans! I will be picking up another of these controllers next time I do a similar build.

Not great for plus-size
I'm not really happy with this product. It says that it's a one-size product but it's not great for plus-size people. Very uncomfortable especially on the underarms and I feel like because I am bigger it just doesn't fit in the right place on my back.

Not for big chested people
The quality seemed OK, but this product is not for big chested people. The ridged velcro straps rested right under my armpits, making it extremely uncomfortable and would have rubbed them raw had I worn it longer. Plus, you have to be Houdini to put it on. I tried for quite some time to get it on while in my living room with the floor-to-ceiling blinds open. I'm pretty sure my neighbors were either laughing hysterically or wondering if they should call 911. Once I finally got it on, it didn't seem to really do anything. Returning it.

Good Controller at a Good Value
The PC 4 Channel 3-pin PCI Cooling Fan Speed Controller works very well and is easy to install. Each potentiometer turns smoothly with no jerkiness to fan speed, and there is a satisfying click when turned off. It really has a nice old-school feel. Be warned that it is not beautiful, so if you have a custom rig, you may want to disguise it somehow. The controller installs in one of the expansion slots on the back of your computer, so if you have a case that does not have a 5.25" bay available on the front, this is one of your few hardware options unless you go for a more complex and expensive solution from a high-end parts maker. There is also an adhesive pad on one surface of the controller, so that if you want to install it elsewhere inside your case, this is an option. Not sure why you'd want to do that, though, because then you'd have to open your case to adjust the fan speed. The controller is reasonably well-made, although you can tell that it was hand-assembled because some of the components are not precision-aligned. For example, each pot has a separate heat sink (a nice thing), but they are slightly misaligned. This does not seem to affect function, just aesthetics.Overall it's a good unit and a good value.

It's going to get gross crammed into your armpits like that
I returned this one. The design isn't terrible but it was impossible for me to adjust while wearing it like the instructions suggest and I wasn't crazy about the idea of having it in my armpits as advertised. Wore it with a shirt underneath for a little bit and it definitely held my shoulders back and down but it didn't seem like a great long term solution. I might try again with one that is larger and has the bulk of the brace lower on the torso.

Great manual 3 pin fan control.
Freaking Outstanding. After making the mistake of buying my first bargain motherboard and finding its stripped down features to leave me feeling as if this was no bargain I realized that this board has one fan header. One fan header, for real... So first I bought an $8 cable and it made the fans run at 100%. Like a hair dryer, no good. So I found this. I got it today, it took one day longer than the prime time. It went in no surprises and worked perfectly. When on its minimum the fans are quiet and the LEDs light up, not as brightly as when at full speed but bright enough. So am I happy, Yes, very.

Bad! Just bad!
This product is not comfortable at all! No matter how you wear it it digs into your skin. I could not bear to wear it for more than 5 minutes. It cuts off your range of motion so you can't do anything comfortably at all! Complete garbage! It also has a horrible chemical smell to it!
