Dimensions Counted Cross Stitch Kit 'Teatime Pansies', Ivory Aida, 7'' x 5'', Small, 14 Count

This is my second one of these kits and I have ordered two more. I really enjoyed the stitches with this kit because they are NOT cross stitch. I find the use of regular embroidery stitches much more engaging and fun. I work on this piece while waiting in medical offices (I drive seniors to doctor's appointments), and I find that it is a great conversation starter with other folks in the waiting room, many people have fond memories of family members who also embroidered. Framed with a light colored frame, it is gorgeous. I tend to make my stitching thicker than called for, so I may have to purchase more thread, but this adds dimension to the pattern and makes it more personal. You will find that making this very reasonably priced, fun, and beautiful piece of embroidery will allow you, also, to pass leisure time quite happily.

When 1st ordered this embroidery kit, I received package but no product enclosed. Noticed a slit in the side where product must have fallen out-- most likely damaged during shipment. Contacted seller and they immediately sent out new one very quickly. Great product, great communication, fast shipping. A++

This is a beautiful finished piece. However, the cloth did make it difficult to work. Holes tended to appear as I embroidered. I didn’t give up and tried to repair and cover up bad places as I went along. It is a good piece to work though. Beautiful results.

This kit is really beautiful - the colors are much richer in real life. The design looks kind of washed out in the promo picture.The design is fairly small, so it shouldn't take long to complete. It does make use of backstitching, couching and bead-sewing, but comes with instructional diagrams, so even inexperienced stitchers should be able to manage it. The majority of the design is stitched in full- and half-cross, with no fractional stitches.

On the surface this will be a new hobby one day when I am able to retire…. But for now, this will likely sit in my office waiting for me. Looks like it will be cute with all the right contents.

This teapot turned out well eventually, a pretty picture. There is embroidery as well as x stitch. The kit had some deficiencies, which were OK for me as I have a lot of extra fabric & thread to replace insufficient items. 1- the fabric was too small, just enough for the pattern but no room to put it in a hoop or frame it. 2- even being very conservative using the thread, I ran out of 3 colors near the end of the project. 3- the picture finished up at 4x6 not 5x7 even though I was careful to use the same count cloth as the kit states. I've done tons of these projects & don't mind a challenge, so over all, I'm happy with it. Someone else might not be.

This piece is almost entirely satin stitches which were very easy for beginners.
