Not impressed with this honeycomb uncapper. First use, 2nd stroke down the frame, one side of the teeth separated from the frame. Not usable now. I don't like leaving bad reviews, so I am hoping this was just a bad unit and the seller/manufacturer makes this right. If so I will update my review.UPDATE: Seller made it right. Contacted me and offered a replacement. Replacement came quickly and works nicely. The first one must have been a one-off flaw as this one was assembled well and held up to use. Thank you POLLIBEE!

I absolutely love this uncapping tool. At first you have to be careful to not cut too deep into the honeycomb. You also have to be mindful that this is SHARP. This tool replaced the de-capping roller I previously used, There's little to no clogging of my strainer and the wax cappings are easy to deal with for future rendering and purification. This is a no brainer and a much cheaper alternative to a de-capping knife.

Tried this tool last week, with very good results. When the frame is capped evenly with new honey comb, the caps come off in an even, thin layer with very little honey attached. These strips can often run the entire length of the frame. When the surface of the capped honey varies, it is no faster than a capping scratcher. These types of tools come in various widths, this one is about 3" wide. I may look for a tool that is a bit wider than this one, but this one does very well for a hobbyist. As a third year bee keeper I can say this is the best tool I have bought. I have tried many different decapping methods but this is by far the easiest of them all. I can decap a full frame in under 30 seconds.

The POLLIBEE Honey Uncapping Fork Honey Scraper is a great product at a fair price.It makes uncapping your honey comb a breeze.I definitely recommend it over other competitive products.

It would work great if every comb were picture perfect. I ends up giving up on it and going back to a knife.It cannot get down into an sort of a low spot and is not great at the edges.

This tool is very helpful when uncapping your honey frames. With practise, a person can get very good at using it. It does a fine job. I couldn't give it a 5 star rating because the wax would get built up on the flat surfaces and needed to be removed, using your fingers. Took time and made using the tool sloppy. Luckily, I always have a small bucket of lukewarm water nearby, ready to rinse my fingers.

The media could not be loaded. I like that this uncapper can fit into the frame's corners. I even stopped using the big heating knife. Just be careful because it's very sharp.
