Skinomi is a great company, here is my story. I purchased this product for my xperia z1. It installed fine, bubbles cleared up it looked great. But if you decide to walk with keys in your pocket or even headphones, the skin could get scratched. This happened to me, I emailed skinomi, they requested a picture of the damage, then by next week I had a new screen protector for free, I didn't have to pay shipping or return the damaged protector.When installing the protector go slow, perhaps put the back skin on first, that way you'll be more prepared for the front skin. Do 1 skin per 24hr. Don't put both on the same day. The skin seems to dry onto the phone rather than glue onto it. So u should do this at night to let the skin dry facing up. However don't be alarmed if you aligned it incorrectly, I was able to carefully remove it and re apply it. But I warn u that you shouldn't do that to many times. Best news of all, I had scratches on my screen and this skin completely fixed them, I see no scratches or scuff marks on the screen. It looks brand new again. I only wish the skin was tougher, it's not indestructible, you can scratch it with your finger nails. However it's a thermal plastic, meaning you can actually rub out the scratches with enough friction.Enjoy

I mainly bought this just because of the back cover that it comes with because I don't want to use a phone case and it doesn't disappoint. The main problem is the front cover, the hole for the front camera is not cut out very well, instead of it being placed on the front cam, it's placed elsewhere leaving the front cam covered, I can still use the camera but meh, kind of blurry making it pretty much useless, I don't really see the point of installing it if its like that. Ended up not using the front film and bought something else.

this is a great product...! i was hesitant at first because of previous experiences with screen protectors... but, given that i carry my phone in my pocket all the time (along with all my other junk), my screens tend to get scratched up.not only is the skinomi completely invisible, it creates a better feel (not as slippery) to the phone [as noted by other reviewers]. since i only care about the front and the back not scratching (especially on my beautiful z1), i didn't install the side pieces.a couple things to consider when installing, tho (besides what is listed in the instructions...) or more to emphasize some things that are, i think, essential for a good application of the product:1) look at the videos of installation that are provided in the skinomi website. that gave you a good sense of what to expect about the product installation.2) make sure you spray your hands and fingers thoroughly with the enclosed spray solution IMMEDIATELY before handling the skin to be applied (the sticky side is really sticky).3) although i applied both front and back in one sitting (yes, at night so that the phone is turned off so as to avoid static electricity problems(?)), it might be better to do one at a time over a period of a day. the reason being that because of the spray solution, the skins can slip around when you turn the phone over to install on the other side. given the precise placement of the camera openings, etc., you want to try to make sure that the skin is well placed and not covering any essentials.finally...4) even if you did it all exactly right and followed all of the instructions to the letter... there might appear to be imperfections on the skin after installation. this drove me NUTS...! i thought i had messed it up... i was about to take it off the next day as it reminded me of my previous experiences with screen protectors... but, as they say in the instructions... WAIT within 2 or 3 days, these TOTALLY disappear.

Unfortunately I could only apply the front skin as the back skin sheet came with a fold in it.24 hours after applying the front and there are still some imperfections but I'm hoping these will disappear in the next couple of days.

The front and back went on really easy and look/feel great. There is a slight orange peel affect at the right angel in the right light, but I don't feel any of it. It feels smooth and works great. I didn't however end up using the sides of the full wrap. While I was waiting for it to show up I picked up a slim bumper case for it that covers the vitals on the sides. But would definitely by this skin for other devices in the future.

The rear skin for Sony Xperia Z1 isn't done well. It's some how scatterin the LED flash of camera and fading out the picture during nights. Other than this, it is perfect in strengt. And texture.

its a pain to apply and i ran out of solution before i could finish applying everything but the front piece,it is barely visible and will self heal light scratches though

Great product for my Sony Z1.I dont really like putting my phone in a casing, so this is a nice way to protect it from scratchs and bumps.Easy to assemble. Delivery was on time.Would recommend this to anyone who wants to protect the phone without using any bumper or casing.

If like me you think the Xperia Z1 deserves a better life than one spent in a cheap case, this purchase from Skinomi is a must!Of all the screen protectors on Amazon, this one stood out the most as it offered both back and front protection options, little did I know it also included skin for the all the sides.Item arrived from US within a week (to Guernsey) and as shipping was free I thought this to be rather excellent timing.After unpacking the item I headed straight to youtube to watch Skinomi's own installation guide, this was essential and I found it extremely helpful.The front and back skins went on without hassle and 48 hours look almost perfect. A note of caution: because these are applied wet, it will appear as if dust is trapped underneath the skin, this will eventually disappear.I attempted to apply the skin to the sides, however they just didn't want to stick to the aluminium, therefore I decided to bin them. Not sure if this is a problem with the skin or with me.

Applied as instructed but still looked terrible, dust still gets underneath it no matter what.Bubbles look bad and the liquid application doesn't last long when you try to apply it more than once.The price of the protector is far to high and it should come with more than one just incase you screw up your first attempt.I wish there was a way to get one fitted by a professional.

Says you cant mark it??? Marked on the second day, difficult to fit. Edge pieces are really fiddly and have worked their way off over the last couple of weeks. Just get normal plastics, this doesn't look as shiny either. Only good thing is that it enhances grip as it has a slight tackiness to it. Its also a con to get you to buy more 'solution' which is just light detergent. No idea how this got on the market. I will be testing the lifetime guarantee soon to see if they keep sending me new 'markable and scratchable' skins which claim to be fully scratch resistant.

Skinomi skins are hands down the best covers you can buy - easy to fit, no bubbles like standard ones, thick protective coat but invisible and very long lasting. I have had them on 3 of my last phones and they have all been perfect. Watch the video to get a perfect fit, but it is really easy to do
