This is the Hanon book you want
Don’t get scammed. This edition has all 60 exercises. Many of the other editions do not. If it doesn't have “60” on the cover, its not the right one.Further, Hanon exercises are a regular part of serious piano players daily practice. This edition with the plastic comb style page binders properly cared for can last a lifetime. The normally bound version suffer from pages working loose over time.At under $10, this was an easy pick.I asked other accomplished piano players if there was anything else like this, another book, that might be good to get at this time. They think that for all the scales and technique exercises that this will be all I need.

Finally, a solution to daily Hanon practice!
Holding a DMA in Music Performance, Piano is my 'other' instrument. Coming back to it, after a decade away from regimented study, I pulled out my old Hanon from college days. It was falling apart, and the pages started slanting, as I got further into the book. I ordered this book, to easily do all of the exercises one after the other. The printing is clear, The book stays open (!) and the pages turn with relative ease, (the book is still new). I don't know WHY I waited to get this comb-bound copy of a 'must have' for the pianist's 'Daily Dozen.'

A must for every pianist
From my early days as a piano student, I was introduced to the Hanon exercises. As a piano teacher today, I make it a priority to provide every one of my students at the early intermediate level with this book. It plays a vital role in helping them establish correct technique and develop necessary endurance required for piano playing.

Clear, easy to read edition
This is a fine, clean edition of the Hanon exercises, with high quality paper, full size format, good note size and sharp, dark printing. Easier to use than some older editions that have apparently been printed with old, worn out plates. For some reason, the first 11 studies in Part One are laid out on two pages, then after that they are compressed onto one page. It would have been ideal to have the same format throughout, but this is not a big deal, as sight reading these repetitive studies is not hard. The binding is a very good one, w/ sewn in pages in a 'lay flat' binding. Be aware that for only a dollar more you can get it in a spiral-bound version. These truly do lay completely flat. I would have gotten that one had I realized it was available. Also, be aware that some editions of Hanon are sold in three separate parts, whereas this edition has all 60 studies. Overall, this is an excellent edition of these studies. I am finishing up Part One, and the binding is holding up just fine. I won't review the studies themselves, as music educators far more learned than I tend to be sharply divided on the value of Hanon. But if Hanon is for you, I doubt that you will find a better edition anywhere.

Excellent Format of a Classic
Over the long span of my piano-playing life I've experienced several alternating periods of loving and hating the 60 Hanon exercises. I'm now in a grudging transition that finds me moving slowly from the hate side toward the loving side (but I'm not yet there). But you're wondering about this particular book. Publishing a comb-bound version of the Hanon 60 was an outstanding move. I really like how it rests on the stand. If I should ever lose or wear out this copy and decide to purchase a replacement, you can be very sure that it will be comb-bound.As an aside, playing the 60 hand-separately and in every key, major and minor, will go a long way toward easing the tedium of cranking through these exercises.

Better than advertised
The book is great for building finger and wrist strength. Easy enough for beginners but complex enough for professionals.
