About two weeks in they started dying. One was really bad, so I took it out of the pot and noticed there was a small plastic pot the plant's roots were trapped in. I cut the plant out and put it with special moss and water. It is thriving now and more beautiful than ever. The other one has the same issue but was in better shape. I reported it in a slightly larger pot and only water around the edges not to get the roots in the small pot soggy. It is thriving this way. In the spring, when it has fully settled in, I will cut it out of that little pot and repot it. My only wish is I wish the company would have told me about those little pots so I could have cared for the plants accordingly.That said the plants are awesome. This plant is so easy. It likes my kitchen window and a little water when the soil is dry. It’s really, really pretty too.

This is my second from Costa, a smaller version arrived a few days earlier. This larger one was to replace one I have had for 5 years, it's tall and leggy which would be the case lower leaves don't live forever. Either way, it was packed very well, no leaves broke but I have to confess accidently cut a lower leaf off getting the plastic wrap off, which keeps the dirt in the pot. I will get to enjoy this one growing. Nice large leaves. Very happy oh, the soil was not dried out either, hadmoisture....Revision. Removed leaves. The leaves about 2 days later developed black spots the size of nickles and dimes, Somes leaves turned to mush like it had too much water, soil to this day feels slight moist, I have not watered it at all. I had one of these, still on for 5 years and was just getting tall and leggy because older leaves don't live forever so have no idea what happened with this plant. Sort of bummed for what I paid for it.
