START InternationalSL7346 Multi Roll Tape Dispenser with Baked Enamel Finish, 9.375" Length x 4.750" Width x 5.250" Depth

The START International SL7346 Multi Roll Tape Dispenser works good so far. It is built solid, but has one minor flaw that I fixed with a work around/bending of the sides. The axle has retaining ring clip (snap rings) on each end. It is unclear if the clips are supposed to be on the outside of the blue metal sides (as shown in the picture) or on the inside. If you put one clip on the outside, the other has to go on the inside of the opposite side. There is simply not enough space between the clips and the tape core holders to fit the width of both metal sides. With the loose fitting mechanism, the whole thing can fall into the center space.I bent the sides in to press more on the core holders and the one clip. But this provided too much friction and the rolling of one roll affected the rolling of the other rolls. They all turned. So I put both snap rings inside under pretty good pressure due to bending in the sides and the axle is solid and rigid in place. The axle does not turn. Now each roll has plenty of slop to turn on it own. The mechanism is totally solid pressing up against both snap ring clips.TIP: use an adjustable wrench when bending in the sides to adjust the top portion to be parallel. Bend in the two sides first (as a whole) and then bend out the top section of each side just below the slot depth to make parallel. This ensures the axle is easier to install and has the same pressure on the top as in the lower part of the axle slot.The tape cutter is flawless and cuts the hardiest of tapes. I use 3M Scotch 233 and 233+ for fiberglass/carbon fiber, epoxy, and finishing work. The guide bars are a good feature and very solid. The weight is good and heavy with self adhesive rubber foam on the bottom for table grip.This dispenser is way better than the Scotch Heavy Duty Dispenser C25, which was a total disappointment.Very happy with this dispenser.

Has a good weight that holds it steady without moving, I use mine for 2 different sizes of Painters tape and Metal Foil tape. The only down side of the one I got was on the right hand side when you are facing it, there is a piece of plastic that holds the blade and the tape still on the roll sticks to it, to hold for you next piece.The one I got had a very sharp plastic spur that stuck out from the corner of that plastic and as I went to use it, not knowing that spur was there it actually cut the side of my index finger. It wasn't the blade, just a sliver of plastic that was sticking off the corner piece, I ended up taking a razor knife and shaved it off. It works fine now. Makes life Easier. Just check yours for that plastic dagger.

I bought two of these. They work pretty well but the second one that I ordered had a loose cutting blade that would pop right out of the unit. I used a two part epoxy to secure the blade back into place.

Blade is not that sharp, and located too low to effectively cut tape. Even blue masking tape. Can't adjust it to resolve this. Too bad, as I'd like it if not for this issue.

I have an award business that uses a lot of double stick tape. I was told that the blade would not tear the double stick tape. I was pleasantly surprised that it did. I was able to put all my different sizes of double stick tape in the dispenser and tear them as easy as if it was masking tape. It comes with screws to fasten it to your tabletop. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to refill, decent unit but blades are kinda dull, hard to sharpen and keeps popping out as time goes by.

Great tape dispenser, flexible setup. The longer tape posts on the right seem weak for wide sticky tape, so put rolls that fit that description on the left. I'm happy with the purchase. Heavy and stable.

I do a lot of taping off objects for sand blasting. This dispenser is great, has very sharp cutting edge and saves me a ton of time. It is heavy, stays put when dispensing and can be screwed down if needed.
