Can an extension be purchased to make it taller (9ft) deck height

Accepted Answer

Yes. I've seen them from other sites. It's a "replacement" section. Each section will add 18" of height? They cost roughly 300 for each section. So if u need more than 1 section you are better off buying 2 of these slides and putting them together.

Question 2

Can the slide be assembled to curve the opposite way from what's shown in the photo?

It can be assembled in the opposite direction, but there are two issues.  One, the parts were molded to curve a specific direction.  You may have to force the bolt holes to line up in curving it the other way, because there is a lip on the pieces that will overlap when curved the other way.  This can be overcome and it is not noticeable once together.  It does take a LOT of strength to get them to fit tightly together.  The second issue is that upper piece at the bottom is designed to curve to the left.  This cannot be forced into curving the other way because that would change the shape as a whole.  I got around this by simply leaving it off.

Question 3

Can you make it turn 90 degrees, for example, you go in facing North and come out facing East?

You do go in and come out in different directions.  I would say the exit is about 70 Deg left from the entrance direction.  You can’t adjust that.  If you look at the manuals, there are diagrams showing the precise dimensions.

I have a deck that is 7 ft off the ground, will this slide work for me?

Go to the swing and slide website and they have a detailed PDF of the instructions for the slide.  Your question is a bit odd b/c the slide is clearly for a 7 ft deck. So either the reader needs more info or your knowledge level in this area might be lacking so I'd get a second opinion before ordering. Obviously the measurement has to be from the top of the deck (where you stand) and some type of box framing would have to be built. If you deck is about 84" off the ground (there's room for some variation) it would be lots of fun. Go to the official website and see the detailed PDF instructions.  I modified a playset and put in the slide - my 5 and 2 yo kids love it.
