Very good and awesome price.
I have never bought anything but Alpha when it comes to flight jackets. But with the price that they want for an alpha flight jacket has gone up considerably in the last few years. So I caved in and bought one of these. I saw that they sold these on a sight just for pilots also so I thought I'd give them a chance. Well this jacket is bomb it Fits well looks good and it's nice and warm very well insulated. Looks almost exactly the same as an alpha for 3 times less the price! Also made in the U.S.A. so I would highly suggest if you want a good flight jacket made in the U.S.A. and you are a traditional anti racist skinhead and proud of it buy this flight you won't be sorry and anybody else out there that love the look they are excellent jackets and light but toasty.

Fabulous product!
This jacket is an exact replacement that I purchased from Rothco some 20 odd years ago. (thank you for including the product information on the inside of the left front pocket!) The old one stood me well, I only decided to replace it because it had become "shopworn". I'm 86 years old, if I last long enough I'll be back for another one in another 20 years!

Warm but...
I knew going into this that I would not be getting THE best quality flight jacket there was. I initially considered buying an Alpha Industries jacket, but I decided to go with Rothco instead, despite the many people clamoring about its lower quality. Especially considering the price, this is a very solidly built jacket. The outer nylon shell feels very solid and of decent quality. This jacket is much better than some of the bomber jackets I've seen in boutiques, which are thin and give you no protection from the cold and are somehow sold for 60+. As for sizing, I am 5'2" and an xs in most women's clothing stores and the XS jacket here is was, predictably, pretty big. It hit just below the knobs of my hips, though so it wasn't unwearably. There is definitely enough room to layer clothes in the cold, which was exactly what I was going for. I've never owned an Alpha jacket so I can't comment on the quality difference between the two. Here are some things problematic things I've noticed though: -The knit cuff are definitely of cheaper quality as they are very thin and scratchy compared to other jackets (flight and non flight) ive owned. -The inner lining isn't of the best quality. Still holds up fine, but could definitely be better -the snap closures are a bit tricky to separate. Combined with the questionably thin orange lining, I can see how they would rip off within a few uses overall a decent jacket and good for layering/keeping you warm, but if you want THE best quality flight jacket, this isn't it

My first nylon flight jacket-
So I've had this jacket for most of the winter and on through the 'extended winter' this year. No complaints whatsoever, especially for what you're getting for the money. I picked this up for about 40 bucks. More that reasonable. Probably not as good as the Alpha brand in the stitching and the cuffs etc, but much better than a civilian jacket in quality and less expensive. I bought this because I wanted to save my black A-2, and with a recent job change, I noticed that it was getting dirtier than I liked. I decided to go nylon because I wanted something water resistant/easier to clean etc than leather. I received the jacket and like some reviewers have mentioned, it's "crinkly" and noisy. That'll go away in a short time and the nylon will soften. As you put it on, you'll see that it's "puffy". Although somewhat insulated, it is very light weight and very comfortable. It fits looser in the arms and the shoulders, but tighter in the chest. Like other reviewers, I would definitely recommend going one size up from your t shirt size. The advantage is that this is a great jacket for being active, driving, etc, anything where your arms are extended because the sleeves don't ride up. However, this makes the jacket less a little less stylish and more utilitarian. The shoulders and arms are a little baggy. The jacket does exactly what I bought it for, though. I do get compliments on it. The arm pocket is handy. The pen holders are neat, but you need to find a shorter that average size pen. Being able to quickly grab something having gloves on is works out well. The jacket is warm in colder weather and does a great job out in the wind. It can get a bit warm in milder temps, though.. especially in the arms... whew! I've had to take it off in a full-on sweat. I went sage green. It goes well with my khaki slacks/black polished shoes uniform.

A jacket that never run out of fashion no matter the time I had it many many years ago and it's still one of the best fall winter jackets

Although this product has very large sizes, it may not fit if you have a lot of belly fat.
First - I want to say this product appears to be incredibly well made, it seems like it would be very warm and - if it fit - comfy. I'm a very obese man (working on that), and I have found it extremely difficult to find jackets that fit me that are not hundreds of dollars. This one looked amazing, but when I tried to put it on, although the shoulders are perfect, the sleeves are the exact length, and it's about the right size around the chest... the size does not make allowance for big people who have a larger belly than their chest. If you're not morbidly obese this jacket is great. If you need a large size because you are a very large muscular person, then the big and tall sizes of this jacket will probably fit you great. But it is not designed for fat folks like me. It makes me very sad to have to return it.

I've been wearing these forever
they last great.. now the arm pocket is slightly higher up and to the side so it's easier to bend your arm when having larger things in the pocket.. these jackets always last me years before I need to get a replacement.. always made very well and the large metal zipper will never have an issue

Disappointing jacket
Where do I start... First of all, this jacket is cut and designed extremely weird. The arms are giant!!! I’m not exaggerating. This is coming from somebody that works out seven days a week and I have bigger arms and chest. Not a bodybuilder but fit. The body is like a trash bag. If you cut out a normal black trash bag and put holes in the arms and walk around in there with your head popping out, that’s what this jacket looks like. They seriously need to re-think the sizing and redo the entire jacket. f you order this jacket, you will soon find out that all of the negative reviews about the sizing and the cut is spot on. Arms are just more like leg size and waist is big and baggy. Also, the jacket is really short. Too short. For a size extra large that I ordered it is cut for somebody that is short and stubby and overweight. I’m 5’11”, 190-200 pounds. The XL was huge around the waist, short, too short, and big long baggy arms. The arms are way too big/thick/baggy and The waist is super short, like a girl wearing a crop top! that’s how short it is almost. This jacket has so many reviews online and so many of people have ordered it, I can’t believe it. Maybe I just got a badly cut poorly designed jacket, Made by somebody who was new and training or smoking something. The material feels nice and durable and the jacket feels like its good quality. It’s a shame that the sizing is just so off and horribly done. I really wanted to and tried to like this jacket, but just couldn’t. I ended up giving it away to someone
