Van Heusen Handkerchiefs Bamboo Eco Friendly Extra Soft 13 Pack (White)

Using hankies in these days of tissue shortages (COVID) is brilliant. Why didn’t I think of this before! I’ve found the hankies much better than tissue for my purposes, although they were too large to fit one neatly into my jean’s pocket or into my purse (I’m female). So I cut them into 4ths, which made them the perfect size for me; it also quadrupled my hankie supply. I won’t bother hemming the cut edges, and certainly won’t be ironing them! They’re for functionality, not for show! I don’t understand complaints that they wrinkle; I would never expect them not to, They’re cotton, which is great, and which I expect to wrinkle when stuffed into my jean’s pocket, as I would a tissue. They’re soft and they hold up much better than tissue. I love these hankies! I’m thrilled to have largely replaced my need for tissues.

With the pandemic, I've been wearing a mask very often -- and developed (to my dismay) such an acne problem (at my age!) that I was in despair...... Of course I've bought and tried all kinds of different masks and have made them but, none reduced the maskne. Coincidentally, in the older building where I live, there is a lot of dust and in winter times when I allergically react to both the dust and frequent in//out of the cold, my nose runs. Naturally I was using and going through tons of disposable paper tissues. Until --at last-- it struck me that just maybe, it's the woody fibers in the paper tissues that were drying out and breaking out my skin. So I thought to try cloth handkerchiefs and Eureka! These Van Heusen Handkerchiefs are fabulous -- very soft and gentle on my poor nose and I am sooo happy! I realize this is a long review but, these handkerchiefs are a wonderful -AND- ecologically friendly way to save your sanity.

We love the Van Heusen men’s handkerchiefs. They are made from bamboo that washes well and are soft. My husband likes the feel of the material and are at a really good price. I would highly recommend these handkerchiefs.

Product was as desired. A nice woven cotton just the right weight and size for a handkerchief. Complaints of the material being wrinkled and needing ironing, that is the nature of 100% cotton. There are less wrinkles if dried on a low heat and left slightly damp. I bought 2 sets and had no fraying in either batch as stated in some reviews. Very pleased with this product.

Great quality and size. Tremendous value.A baker’s dozen was less than 2 similar handkerchiefs at a men’s store.Yes, they wrinkle when washed and dried, but what do expect? All bamboo and cotton thread is that way.

I chose a middle rating. Cannot now give a true rating but you force me to select a rating in order to accept what I've written. I bought these as a Christmas gift and will not open them before then so cannot now give feedback. My hope is that they wash up nicely, will not need ironing and will be soft to the skin. Time will tell. If you want to ask me after Christmas you may do so.

Look nice when they arrived, but come out extremely wrinkled in the delicate wash cycle. Too wrinkled to steam iron so be prepared to pull out your ironing board.

I love these. These are my second set. I’m normally not a fan of regular cotton handkerchiefs because I find them a little too rough sometimes. These get softer after the first wash, and then continue to get softer with every wash thereafter. I would definitely recommend these, especially after seeing how expensive tissues have become.
