Review: Size, quality, value for money, time saving, kitchen use - Great Value for Money – Reliable and Easy to Use! I recently purchased the Presto Electric Griddle on desertcart, and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. The cooking surface is large enough to prepare meals for the whole family at once, which is perfect for weekend breakfasts. Pros: Even heating: The surface heats evenly, so pancakes, eggs, and bacon all come out perfectly cooked without hotspots. Easy to clean: The non-stick coating and removable drip tray make cleanup super quick. Durable build: Feels sturdy and well-made despite the affordable price. Cons: Cord length: The power cord is a bit short, so you’ll need to place it close to an outlet. No temperature markings: The heat control is adjustable, but I wish it had more precise temperature labels. Overall, this Presto product delivers solid performance and convenience at a great price. Ideal for daily use and especially useful for quick breakfasts or batch cooking. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, effective countertop griddle! Review: NOT SUITABLE FOR INDIAN ELECTRIC STANDARDS - This product conforms to United States of America's electric standards viz., 120 VOLTS , 0.55 AMP, 66 WATT. So, be careful while using in India, use adapter/step down transformer. DO NOT PLUG DIRECTLY INTO INDIAN MAIN ELECTRIC SUPPLY. The chute area is not enough, it can't accommodate even one bigger carrot/celery, have to slice it into two or three. Good for one or two kilo moderate quantity, not suitable for heavy duty. Rest is fine. The plastic is of good quality, logistic team efforts are laudable for their packaging standards. ## Features - Salad Shooter Electric Slicer/Shredder - For kitchen - Durable product ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00006IV0R | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,115,827 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #15,133 in Peeling, Grating & Slicing Tools #47,934 in Small Kitchen Appliances | | Brand | Presto | | Colour | white | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 9,686 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00075741029108, 00757410291084 | | Included Components | 1 Piece Electric Slicer | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 27.9L x 22.6W x 10.7H Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Slicer | | Item Weight | 2.5 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Presto | | Manufacturer Part Number | 02910 | | Material | Plastic | | Model number | 02910 | | Product Dimensions | 27.9L x 22.6W x 10.7H Centimeters | | Shape | Cylindrical | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 806293531197 724137249438 872182673774 809185818352 163120780211 132017568621 885871373633 757410291084 885457352755 854432495527 885178496776 885466235353 885184917081 680806807012 885383693014 151903525081 666671387019 809186274973 700621476924 718472691120 666671370844 807030499350 115970722439 075741029108 781147843285 763615716086 168141481222 088021326170 885693643327 696719892182 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Presto - **Colour:** white - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 27.9L x 22.6W x 10.7H Centimeters - **Style:** Modern ## Images ![Presto 02910 Salad Shooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61FUIGRpWZL.jpg) ![Presto 02910 Salad Shooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71gcUhif2XL.jpg) ![Presto 02910 Salad Shooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+2HbaduqL.jpg) ![Presto 02910 Salad Shooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811slLSmcrL.jpg) ![Presto 02910 Salad Shooter Electric Slicer/Shredder. - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ik3EM0qzL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What's the difference between this and the Professional model?** A: Nothing I can see to compare to a professional model. **Q: does it work for making hash browns** A: It makes excellent hash browns. I use mine almost daily for making them. I peel the Potatoes, I usually have larger ones that will go in the machine without cutting in half longways. Shred them, Rinse really well to get the starch off them and I then put them in a bowl covered with water and pre cook for about 3-4 mins in the microwave, Dump the pre cooked hash browns on the strainer, pre-heat my cast iron skillet with some butter dump them in and cook to the desired doneness. **Q: Has anyone used the salad shredder to shred carrots for carrot cake.... is the shredding fine enough for cakes?** A: I have used the salad shooter to shred carrots for carrot cakes for years. I usually put the carrots through twice to get an extra fine shredding. **Q: does it shread cabbage good?** A: I haven't tried cabbage, but the user manual says it does work with cabbage http://www.gopresto.com/downloads/instructions/02910.pdf ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Size, quality, value for money, time saving, kitchen use *by A***R on 27 July 2025* Great Value for Money – Reliable and Easy to Use!
