Suprisingly Good
This is going to be an odd review, so please bare with me. You see, I am not a drinker, nor do I actually like alcohol in general. I do however have an intense interest in the style, class, and history of spirits, and how they have played a huge part in American culture. .Because of this passion, I have spent a few years in search of drinks that would satisfy this niche interest. Something to allow me to feel like I am partaking in a classy and sophisticated past time, while lounging in my study and reading a good book. As you can tell, this is a very specific and difficult task to achieve.I was glad to see that someone was selling Ronsin to America, let alone on Amazon, and spared no time to purchasing to try it out, and I have to say that I am impressed. I have some experience in making whiskey(Though no interest in actually drinking it) and the first thing I noticed was that Ronsin actually spelled "like" alcohol. Not the same as a high proof alcohol, but similar. It is a pleasant and sweet smell with a hint of apple juice. After tasting, I noticed it is quite sweet, yet not overpowering and has a lot of flavors going on that I would intuitively correlate with actual rum. I poured a glass over the rocks and sipped on it. I have to say, it did not last long. I really enjoyed it. after a while I noticed an underlying theme of apple juice that seems to be the base of this drink. It is not overpowering, but close. It seems that the apple juice may be distracting from the other flavors. All in all, I am very happy that I tried Ronsin Rum, and I will most definitely buy again. I have to reiterate that this is for a very specific type of person, but if you are that person, I think you will really like this. When it comes down to you, you buy this not to have a great drink, but to have great style without completely sacrificing the drink. For most people, this is a compromise. For me, it is exactly what I was looking for.I will post some pictures of how I have adopted this drink into my Sherlock-Holmes-ish style study room.

This tastes horrible
Seriously, this rum substitute didn't work in *anything*, from rum and coke, to pina colada, to mai tai. The flavor of this ersatz rum didn't work either as a strait substitute or mixed with actual rum to reduce alcohol content. And let's not even mention how it tastes all by its lonesome.Of course, there may be some for whom this works. I am by no means a connoisseur. But don't buy a case first time out of the gate.

Not Bad, Not Great
I am a former rum drinker and had read that Ronsin was the above and beyond best thing out there for those looking for a non-alcoholic rum experience. To this degree, Ronsin just doesn't do it for me. I have had better success using essences that capture the taste. That said, Ronsin does have the ingredients that make rum, just never fermented (thus making it non-alcoholic). Plain and simple, it tastes a lot like its main ingredient: apple juice. If you mix it with a dark soda, it's not bad...it's just not great. I haven't drank it just on the rocks yet, but again, that apple flavor is immensely the most distinguished flavor...it is the first listed and prime ingredient. For the price and the fact that it's popular for NA rum drinkers, I can't say I am impressed. I had a few more sips and went back to my former alternative. It may or may not be for you just depending for what you want out of it. It looks and presents like alcohol....pro. Cons...no burn to simulate any sort of feel, the apple flavor is very evident, and never once was I fooled by what was in the glass. It is what it is...an alternative. The seller was great and had this on my door very quickly.

What I was looking for
It's a good NA drink. I like the aroma and the taste. It does not taste like rum in any way because is not rum, but it is exactly what I was looking for.

Caramel flavored sweet water.
It's not really rum. It does have a lot of caramel and slightly sour note. But it is very sweet and has no bite. It's clearly not a rum alternative - so the question, as I've found with all NA distilled drinks, is whether it's good anyway, such as it is. It's OK, it's just, as I said, primarily sweet and caramel flavored with a LITTLE sour and no bite. I'd consider it equivalent to a cheap dry sparkling cider. I'm not a big fan of sweet stuff. Also, the seal around the cap doesn't really work, barely holds the cap on and fell right off, as if it had already been broken. And the cap doesn't fit the bottle very well, so it doesn't seal tightly. When you screw it on tight it just spins. The bottle I got was already missing maybe 3oz. So who knows - did someone already open it? Altogether not a great bottling effort either.I gave it 2 stars because... maybe you'll like it if you like caramel-flavored stuff... this would be good?

Wao so awful it made my wallet scream.
Save your money. Taste nasty. For me it taste like bad old apple cider. Then worse with wierd after taste. You can't get your money back Either. Now my wallet hurts and I will not be believing 5 star reviews. I know about rums. This not even close to be an imitation. Look somewhere else.

pretty good
There is no replacement for a good rum, however this is approaching it. The taste is a bit sweet for me, but good consistency. I found myself mixing this product and my usual rum to help keep the alcohol content lower.
