Pocket Digital Lomo Camera with Keychain SQ30m - Navy

I received this as a gift. Followed instructions and it won’t even turn on...this is junk.

Probably the best digital toy camera! It tskes practice to figure out how to use it but the results are amazing!

I bought this to actually use as a keychain, and I think that it would work fine however, I have large fob for my car and adding this camera to it was just too bulky for me to carry around. I just keep it in my purse instead. The instructions that come with this item are poorly translated but they have good illustrations so you get it eventually. I did quite a bit of checking on the internet to get some additional information and finally found an English website that cleared up a couple of things.At first I thought that I wouldn't be able to connect this to my computer as it said a driver couldn't be found. I tried the next day and had no problems at all.It's not clear, but you WILL NEED a 2 GB mini sd card to work with this camera, this is one of the things I discovered doing an internet search. It can hold some photos without the card, but you'll need to connect and save them right away. If you shut off the camera without the sd card, the photos erase. So you will need the mini sd card inserted into the camera in order to save photos on it. I was unable to find a 2GB card (the max size for this camera) at the major stores, so I had to order it from amazon. It charges using a USB cable that comes with it and you just hook it to your computer.I've taken several photos with this and have only had one that was blurry. I find that you are able to hold it fairly steady and still can get a good shot. The photos are "artsy". One friend said that it looks like instagram photos. You do need to hold the shutter button down for up to 5-6 seconds before it takes the shot.I like that there are 4 different photo settings and 4 different video settings. The video is silent and you only get about 8-10 seconds. There is no viewfinder or screen with this camera, so you're blind as to what you're taking- which I find is a big part of the fun. But if you line up the top of the camera with your subject, I've been able to get the shot I've wanted without any problems.I'm sure if you have a smart phone that this little camera seems a bit redundant. But I really hate taking photos with a cell phone and I like the novelty of this little guy.With the sd card, camera and some shipping I paid over $50 for this. I've had it for about a month and so far, so good. If it continues working as is, then I think the price is ok. Less expensive cameras of this type on amazon had reviews which stated the camera never really worked or quit after a few weeks. So I'd rather pay for something that will continue working.The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I had to spend quite a bit of time searching the internet to find out about the sd card and some clearer instructions. Hopefully my long review will help save future buyers some time by explaining a bit of that stuff up front. Also note, I think there are some slightly different versions of this camera on the market, I believe one is called the X-version which has 4 different photo settings than this little camera.Fun item: If you search internet images, you'll see this camera comes in a variety of color combinations. Mine is navy blue with pink buttons, the image shown here is lite blue. You're camera may be different colored yet.

As long as you 1) know a 2GB microSD is required and 2) understand and accept the limitations of this camera it is a good quality little camera, perfect to send with the kids to camp.
