Grizzly Industrial G0889-13" 2 HP Benchtop Planer

After 6 months of usage, plastic gear on handle that adjusts head height fell off. Reinstalled with set screw and screw would not tighten due to gear stripped. Ordered replacement gear the end of May, Grizzly says Part still on back order and can not commit to a date. Want another $400 plus for another planer, me send mine back for assessment. If they agree, (with no time frame given) they will refund the second planer price. Otherwise, I would have over $800 in one planer. Read details on Grizzly products!!! The 1 year manufacturer warranty is only good if hey have parts, otherwise be prepared to pay twice for it.

This was a complete waste is my money. This machine wouldn't even plane 1/32 off of a 1×4 piece of pine. On top of that their customer service sucks. I have been working with wood for over twenty years and this was a complete regret of a purchase.

Had to replace my broken one. As a woodworker, it's a "must-have".

Do not buy a grizzly!! They do not have parts and your planer will be worthless in a year or two!! Very disappointed.
