Elope Doctor Who Tardis Laplander, Blue, One Size

I had this hat on my wish list of "fun" things maybe for Christmas. However, I had a problem that the my doctor diagnosed as trigeminal neuralgia and she told me to wear a warm winter hat to keep my ears covered. I ordered this through Amazon Prime and next day delivery. This hat is not only cute, but it is warm, sturdy and fits well. I was a little concerned about the fit because it looked like it was made for someone younger, but it will fit an adult head easily. It is very soft and comfortable. This is a good quality thick hat. I was not happy to have the problem I had but so grateful that it pushed me to buy this hat. I am set now for Winter. UPDATE: April 6, 2014 ... Well with this past cold winter this hat got a lot of wear and it has held up well. It was nice and warm especially paired with the matching scarf. Both are heavy and thick and perfect for cold weather. I can't emphasize enough the tightly woven knit that gives it such protection in the cold. UPDATE: January 3, 2017 ... I loved my hat so much that when it got misplaced and the weather got cold this winter I ordered a new one. It was worth the money! You don't have to be a Doctor Who fan to get good use out of this hat. It's probably the best winter hat I've ever had and I am 64 years young. I also have the matching scarf; same thickness same warmth; same great company.

As soon as I saw this TARDIS hat, I knew I had to have it. It was priced around $20 at ThinkGeek.com and Hot Topic, but when I saw the price almost cut in half at Amazon, I purchased it right away. This hat is perfect for any true Whovian and seems to be a decent winter cap as well. The material is a good thickness and the ear flaps are a great bonus (I spent a winter in Chicago and KNOW how those winds can bite at the ears). I have a smaller head than most (I'm fully grown, I swear!) and was afraid that the hat would be too big since it only comes in one size. However, it seems to fit me just fine, especially once I discovered that there's an actual front and back to it. I would definitely recommend this hat to anyone who's into Doctor Who. For everyone else, I recommend you start watching the show so you can have an excuse to get the hat.

I was a little skeptical when purchasing this item because of all the knock-off merchandise that surrounds a successful franchise. That said, this hat is amazingly cute on my girlfriend..err companion, and has a wonderful appearance. The technical stuff: the hat is made of quality material from Bangalar IV and is meticulously sewn together in Cybermen knitting camps on Terestria VII . The tassels also add to the overall presentation and are sturdily attached. The little ball on top does not make a 'dinging' sound no matter how many times I bop it, and is most likely firmly attached to the rest of the cap. She wears it all the time now...Like, all the time. I can't say that I have a problem with that as we are both die hard fans of the show which is totally not real, just cool.

I bought this for a friend as a graduation present, and loved it so much I got another for myself. I plan on buying yet another for my sister's birthday. This is such a quality hat, the fabric is knitted very nicely, and its a nice and thick fabric too, so it will definitely work exceedingly well as a hat. The design is so perfect! Now I can declare my love of Doctor Who while keeping my ears toasty! The little strings in the puff ball are slipping out a little, I blame that on my cat, but just don't tug on them really hard and they wont slide out. Its a perfect buy and makes for an even better present (no matter the occasion!), you'll love it!

This was much better quality than exspected and fits my son great. It's lined, stretches. Well seamed at the back which dips down so there is a front and back. Colors are crisp & bright. And the braid tassels are well done. For the price this is worth it!

So I ordered this for my 18 yr old niece who is a HUGE Dr. Who fan. She loved it. I was amazed at the shipping speed. It was here in less than 24 hrs!! ( I had just got prime so that may have helped) The quality is really really great! It is thicker than I thought it would be and warm, the colors are bright and it fits pretty much all the girls in our house of different ages. I would totally order from them again!

I wanted this so much, then it sold out before Christmas, then it first got lost in the port and turned up two days later then expected (maybe the Tardis distorted the time), but now it is on my head, soft, comfty, my ears are not cold, looks good, I love it
