Orbit Sprinkler System 1-Inch Anti-Siphon Control Valve 51023P, Green

I needed a manual shut-off valve with a nice handle grip to replace an old automatic valve with had a bleed screw - an unreliable way to turn a valve on and off. My local home improvement store on carried manual shut off valves in brass only, so this was a much better value for me, and it was priced slightly below similar automatic valves of the same composition. It turns on, turns off, just as it's supposed to. The only thing I miss from my old valve was the flow control which is handy if you have a station with all low flow or drip heads. In the case of this valve, such adjustments must be made at each individual sprinkler or emitter.

It works great and fit very well

I just needed this for parts to put on my current system that broke over the winter. Served the purpose.

After struggling with automated valves for too long, I stared to replace some of them with this manual valve. The ones I don't use often. I use the old automated valves as spares for the ones I need to have on timers.

One of the valves I used arrived broken. Because of this, I had to order another one. The ones I used worked well and were very inexpensive compared to other valves.
