these work great, they are my favorite headphones.i use them for everything (music, zoom, note dictation) i use them with a lightning adapter or just plugged into my laptop. the soundproofing is good, i like that i don't have to have the volume too loud -and they are great for the train or bus (or mall/plane).the microphone can be good, but sometimes it can pick up sounds (like the mic seems to be right at the same spot as my zipper on my hoodies and coats). that is the only downside for me.

I'm not sure about these having too much bass
I find these earbuds to have a bit too much high end, myself. I can cover this with my EQ, so it's basically a non issue. These are comfortable, and sound decent.

I really ike these earbuds. I have been using them everyday since I got them. The sound quality is amazing, and they are pretty comfy.

Not like when they first came out.
I used to use these JVC marshmallows all the time when they first came out. A few years have gone by and I was looking for a cheap pair of earbuds and that's exactly what I got cheap. Sound quality is not as good cord is really short and does not give you the length you need if you're working out or moving in general.
