If you are looking to revitilize your firepit table, then this is what you need. I ordered these class pieces last summer and they still look amazing. My table is outside in a covered area but still subject to the elements and the color is still vibrant and shiny. I only needed one bag for a standard size firepit table. I highly recommend this purchase. Very good quality. I love the colors!

We bought this to fill our fire pit in the backyard. The colors are great. Lots of options to fit your decor and vibe. I have noticed that some of the glass is beginning to char and lose its color from the flames.

I'm happy with this fire glass! I followed Stanbroil's calculations when estimating how much fire glass to buy. It's pretty accurate, and I'm glad they had that in their description. I knew I wanted some blue, but didn't want it to be overpowering. The combo of aqua blue, platinum, and copper was perfect for me. Furthermore, each color comes in separate plastic bags in case you want to customize your color blend a little. It's a good idea to clean the rocks first as there is some dust and finer glass shards. Some recommend a strainer, but I didn't want to waste the ones we had for the kitchen (if you end up doing this, do not use that strainer for cooking anymore). Instead I drilled holes into the bottom of a gallon milk jug and then cut the top open. I placed my glass in the jug and washed it with a hose over a plastic basin. All the dust and finer glass pieces filtered into the basin and the glass shined after the wash. Most of the pieces were good 1/2" sizes. Some were larger and some were smaller, but I think this variance will be common with most fire glass. I wore rubber gloves the whole time I was working with the glass. Hope this helps!

Just beautiful. Lots more sparkle than in the pictures. Took out old stones and put these in. Elegant looking! First pic is my old stones. old and cruddy even after I washed them. This new colorful bunch had mirror pieces in them so they really lit up when the fire light hit them! Worth the purchase for a neat little upgrade.

Bought as a replacement for "lava rocks" that came with our our LP fire pit which were so ugly . Fire glass is very pretty with fire in evening - shimmering blue. Functions as noted and easy to use but provide adult supervision around children/pets - very sharp and hot.

I bought this to make a custom portrait of my husbands dog that passed, i used gorilla glue to stick to the glass of a frame. Turned out so good and love the way the pieces look

Fire table came with the old school BBQ lava rock. So ordered these glass beads. (3 -10 pd bags for a 42 long in x 12.5 wide worked perfect to fill). So much nicer!! No more 1980's bbq look as with the lava rock. Nothing negative to say about these glass pieces.

We have had this old fire table for some time now. We divided to give it a new look and replaced the lava rock with this fire glass. I absolutely love it!! Would recommend this to anyone that wants to upgrade their fire table. It also comes in different colours. Great buy and great price, I used 10 lbs for mine.

Beautiful color and adds the right amount of sparkle. covers up the ugliness of the element and the dark area. Gorgeous when its lit.

So beautiful! My firepit is 24×8 and thought 10lbs of the 1/4" would be enough. I probably should've bought 2 bags but now they're sold out. I haven't experienced any issues with the clear glass turning black. Do be careful, there is some very small sharp pieces.

Great quality makes beautiful colors when using it on our propane fire pit would recommend anybody for this
