Uvex Tune-Up Work Trousers for Men - Breathable Lightweigh Cargo Pants with Reinforced Knee Pockets

These are my husbands absolute favourite work trousers...by work I mean pottering in his workshop. He had the shorts in the same range for the summer and was wearing them still once the colder days appeared so I ordered these for the winter months. You will need to order a size bigger than you would normally wear as they do come up small but I knew this beforehand from the shorts so for me the size was as expected. The trousers themselves are so well made. The pockets are strong and plentiful, the knee is padded but not so much as to make them bulky. The material down the side of the knee is elasticated so great bit of stretch for kneeling. They have a rigid waste but my hubby says it’s really comfortable and they stay put which is a bonus for everyone. From my point of view they wash superbly well, are easy to iron, stuff doesn’t stick to them so I don’t end up with bits of wood shavings all over the house and they don’t show marks. There is only one downside....getting my husband to hand them over for washing. I’m preparing myself to order some more so at least the only downside won’t be such an issue.

The sizings are definitely out, I ordered a 36" waist, definitely to small for me. Returned and ended up with a 38" waist trouser. Very comfortable, not restrictive at all. Plenty of pockets..... Definitely recommend. Not the cheapest, but we'll worth the price paid. This is now the third pair I have bought as I was so impressed by them......

Typically I wear 40 waist and have a 38 leg. In these trousers I got a 40-36 because they dont do a longer leg unfortunately. I'm pretty happy though, the waist is fine and the leg length isnt too bad tbh. But they are a little snug around my thighs. I'm working in them today (31.1.2020) so let's see how they hold up. I'm sure they'll rip at some point because they're snug. We shall see... I got these though because they have a decent amount of pockets and the blue colour goes with my companies colours.

These are exactly what I was looking for, no flappy pockets at the front, but enough pockets on the side for when on site. I bought a size 50 which fitted perfect for a 34" waist, which is what the size chart recommended. I will need to reduce the leg length by 50mm but that is because I am only a 29" inside leg so this is the usual. The quality is very good with nice features such as a stretch panel on the side of the knee for when knee pads are fitted. They look smart for those in a more office or management environment but still robust for site work. Will definitely purchase a second pair.

Work pants are usually impossible to buy due to oversizing or uncomfortable material. These are excellent pants! Good sizing and the material is hardwaring but flexible. They are really comfortable pants and I consider them a bargain at the price. Great pockets as well. Pants of this quality would normally be closer to £100 so I’m very happy with this purchase and will look no further in future.

The first point to make is that these pants are very wide I had mine tailored and now they feel much better Like the elasticated waist but don’t know why they had to be so wide in the leg I work mainly indoors and these are fairly light compared to other work pants there All in all not bad but I had mine tailored

A very good and useful work pants. I'm a landscape gardener and try a lot of different bits of kit out in the field. These have impressed me more than my set which were nearly double the price of these Uvex Tune-ups. Useful pockets in good positions, lightweight materials, durable stitching and modern design... It all works well for me.

Sorry UVEX, sizing is all off..... quality looks and feels great, but I’d hate to be stuck in those all day.

Attention, ce pantalon est court, même lorsqu'on prend une assez grande taille. Donc si vous avez de longues jambes, mieux vaut sans doute se tourner vers un autre modèle.

Gekauft da ich die Marke auch von Berufswegen kenne und der Name für Arbeitssicherheit steht, wobei mir von Uvex nicht alle Workwear-Artikel optisch gefallen. Anders bei dieser Cargohose: sie ist stylisch, modern, hat ein nettes Taschenkonzept und sieht richtig gut aus. Es gibt einige Sachen die mir nicht gefallen, mit denen ich aber klar komme. Zu den Details: Die Hosentaschen sind bewusst klein gehalten und eng, mehr als Münzen oder ein Feuerzeug werden dort kaum reinpassen - für mich nicht weiter dramatisch, es gibt sonst genügend Platz: die linken Knietaschen sind sehr großzügig. Unten vorderste Tasche ist für das Telefon gedacht, das Samsung XCover2 ist aber schon zu groß für die Tasche. Darüber ist die große Haupttasche, hier geht das meiste rein, sie ist sehr unscheinbar und man unterschätzt die Größe. Innerhalb dieser Tasche ist eine kleine Netztasche, die nach oben offen und mit einem soliden Gummibund verschlossen wird. Hier passt loses Kleinzeug rein was gerne sonst mal beim knien oder sitzen rausrieselt. Top gelöst. Hinter der großen Tasche ist nochmals eine Tasche die oben durch eine Stegnaht getrennt ist, womit man dann links und rechts jeweils eine Öffnung hat. Verschlossen werden die vordersten Taschen mit Klettverschluss. Die rechten Knietaschen sind fast identisch, rechts gibt es nur keine Handytasche und keine Netztasche, dafür eine für den Zollstock, wobei diese erstmal nicht als dafür vorgesehen erkenntlich ist. Kniepolstertaschen sind vorhanden, die Polster selbst sind nicht im Lieferumfang. Die Gesäßtaschen bieten genügend Platz auch für etwas breitere/dickere Geldbörsen. Die Verarbeitung der Hose macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, am Hintern ist der Stoff recht dünn, im Sommer wahrscheinlich angenehmer als im Winter. Die Nähte sehen auch sehr gut aus, allerdings kann ich nur mit mir bekannten Fabrikaten vergleichen (Boco, Snickers, Mascot). + Optik, Schnitt + Taschenkonzept + Preis Neutral: Hosenbund ist nicht wirklich flexibel, dafür aber belastbar - Handytasche ist viel zu klein für aktuelle Smartphones (Sept. 2019) Fazit: mich überzeugt diese Hose trotz der viel zu kleinen Handytasche. Das stört mich aber nicht weiter, da ich das Telefon auch ungern auf Kniehöhe transportiere. Am besten gefällt mir wirklich der Schnitt dieser Cargohose. Gesucht habe ich lange nach so einer Hose, ich lege schon etwas Wert auf Optik und Stil, da ich im Bereich technischer Service tätig bin und gerne auf Blaumann & Co. verzichte. Insgesamt fiel die Größe 42 (30/32) etwas kleiner aus als gedacht, passt aber trotzdem noch (gerade so). Top Hose, sehr stylisch, klare Kaufempfehlung!

Yo compre hace 2 años el modelo de chica, y la talla q uso de pantalón vaquero se corresponde tal cual con la de este pantalón. Ahora he comprado el modelo de chico, y nos ha costado 3 compras y 2 devoluciones dar con la talla justa !! La talla q marca el pantalón no es la "normal"......hay q medir la cintura y ver la correspondencia en la tabla.....y aún así es más grande de lo q en teoría dice ser. Total, q mi pareja gasta una 42 en vaqueros, con 89cm de cintura......y la talla q al final le viene bien ha sido la 48. Quitando ese "vaiven" de tallas, el pantalón es cómodo y resistente. 100% recomendable. Lo malo es q el espacio para meter las rodilleras esta muy alto, y cuando te las pones y te arrodilla, quedan demasiado altas y no protegen. Igual es porq mi pareja es muy alta y el pantalón le queda justito de altura en el tobillo y la zona de la rodillera más alta. No se, pero ha sido una pena. Hemos tenido q devolver las rodilleras pese a q parecían muy buenas.
