Will this work on a flat top stove?

Yes it can, except microwave oven cast iron can be used on any heat resource

If i buy it is there a way i can have you send me the replacement screws, or should i wait until you have the new stock available?

Do you cook the tortilla in the press

No. Not sure if that would work or not. And it doesn’t press the tortillas all the way flat. Still end up rolling them out a little after using the press.
