Atomi Smart AC Controller - WiFi-Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, iOS, Android, and The Atomi Smart App

Short and sweet....This device continually lost connectivity to the wireless network and I'm not sure why. The app would also notify me that the device could either not connect or could not be found. Resetting it did not solve the problem. I also came home several days in a row to find that none of the devices turned on AND when I checked the programmed schedule in the app, there were none to be found. You could navigate the entire menu and program a schedule and after pressing SAVE, the schedule was still not saved. Only issue I have found is how to switch the AC temperature from Celcius to Fahrenheit. Still, works nicely and works well as a colorful nightlight.

This IS a great product!! It does everything it advertises. I wanted to control a Haier AC, the Broadlink RM Pro+ didn’t work, the Panamalar didn’t work but the Atomi was working, fully functional, after a 5 minute setup. This controller is definitely worth the price. A wifi air conditioner is more than $100 more than a standard unit and the Atomi makes any ac wifi controlled!! I use alexa and Atomi is fully integrated. Controls temp setting, fan speed and mode. I wish I tried Atomi first!!

I bought this to control my 91 year old mother’s window unit air conditioner. Great price and would do exactly what I need. Should have read the reviews beforehand. Received the unit, downloaded the IOS app, and attempted to set up the unit on the WiFi. All worked as described until the unit attempted to connect and sync. It failed after the 2:00 timeout. Literally tried dozens of times as some reviewers had described to no avail.Reached out to customer service and did get several responses. They finally agreed to send a replacement which took a week to arrive from the west coast. Surprisingly, that unit did the exact same thing. Obviously something I’m doing wrong but being more than a a novice network guy. I have changed, removed, rebooted, and everything else suggested dozens and dozens of times but the darn thing still won’t sync/initialize. I’ve got several other devices connected using 2.4 ghz so I know my router works properly. I’m done, buying another brand even though it’s twice the price. Maybe this one will work and make up for the 10 days I’ve wasted trying to make these other 2 work.

Got 2 of these and they worked really well for the few months that they worked. After a while they stopped connecting to my home wifi and they became impossible to reset since their internal wifi stopped working too.I actually wasn't expecting any kind of miracle for the inexpensive price but I expected it to last longer than it did. The phone app is pretty good. Better off with a simple internet controlled on/off switch.

Works well with our ACs with no LCD screen , but not that great if u have an AC with LCD display , here I can’t get the Atomi app to turn the AC off. Probably a software issue from their side. It was easy toninstall , but big dislike is that the menu on the screen with the functions of your AC Incl the temperature doesn’t show you the setting the AC has after for example u adjust a setting. It’ll only show current roomtemperature never the set one. And also the setting in which mode it is or fab speed do work though to adjust them but it won’t show their status and that’s just totally senseless. So even if for any reason the input wasn’t successfully submitted to the AC u won’t know That unless you’re home and look at the ACs display . I think this is aswell a software issue what Atomi could very easy resolve by programming the software this way which is based on the smart life app software , what also is possible to set it up with smart life or tuya app , but other big minus is that in the Alexa app this also won’t show as a controllable device which u could power on and off without voice control over the touchscreen on your echo show or the app on the phone . So with that I would say you get for 20$ pretty much the most you can get, i probably will change for sure for the units we have with LCD screen to the Cielo breez version as seems their system works perfectly to LCD display remote controlled units and shows you the current status of the real time settings. I guess if Atomi would fix that they probably will raise their price as then it would be really the almost perfect product for a too cheap price .

I simply love the ability to control all the ACs in my apartment with my phone and also schedule turning it on and off just like we do the lights. I did have some trouble setting it up, but once I got it, it does its thing!Well update on this one. So now that its about to get hot where I live, I tried to turn on my 2 AC with the Atomi Controllers and one of them apparently is no longer working. Once I plugged them in and set them up I only had to use them 3 times since it was September when I bought them. So they have just been plugged in and not used since then. And it looks like one of the power modules is no longer responding, not even turning blue when you unplug and plug back in, and since there is no real way to reset it, I am guessing its dead. So that really sucks.

Works great however, it took me a very long time to get this running. The directions said to hold the power button for 10 seconds until the blue light blinks rapidly. Well, I did that, and no matter what the hot spot on it would not turn on. I ended up figuring out that if you hold power button, it blinks..release..and then immediately hold it down again..and it will come on..then you can set it up onto the wifi. I had almost returned it, but at the last minute I figured it out.
