Tested before Christmas
Tested before wrapping and scared myself lol. Very loud. Cool for the grandson that wants to be a policeman.

Loud, but sounds good
Great toy for kids. Looks cheap, but has held up well. For the price, no complaints. Would buy again. It’s loud, no volume control, so be prepared.

Holy cow this thing is LOUD!!
Heed the other reviews, this thing is LOUD. Seriously. Deafeningly loud. I put duct tape over any hole I could find on the back and that has worked to mute the sound a bit. The lights are pretty bright on it. The sounds are great except that it arrived with only 3 of the 4 buttons working. With the lockdown going on, I'm not going to bother returning it. My son will make do with the 3 sounds. I doubt it will be operational for very long, it's quite cheaply made. Overall, it's fun for the kids, but probably not worth $10.

Cheap, over-priced, LOUD, but it works!!!
I received a USED one missing half its parts and broken. No mount for the light unit. One of the gray caps is missing from one of the four buttons. It's china crap!! But in the end it worked out and served the purpose.I attached this thing to my kid's little Radio Flyer push cart deal. Attached the control to the handle bar and attached the light to the wooden side panel with a M4x20 screw. Like others have mentioned, this thing is loud as crap....good or bad depending on use. Too loud for my infant....but I put black electrical tape over all the slots on the bottom and it cut the sound level at least in half. It is fine for inside use and he loves it. Tape blends in and you can't tell. As he gets older, we can make it louder by pealing off some tape!!!I would have rated it better if it wasn't broken and missing parts.

it would start to approximate how loud and annoying this item is
LOUD! Basically, if I wrote this product review in all caps, it would start to approximate how loud and annoying this item is. I bought this with the intention of mounting on my young son's plastic car (both an indoor and outdoor car). But this siren, as others have noted, is way too loud to be given to a child under age 5 or so, and is completely unusable in doors.PROS:- Very loud and will immediately attract attention- Inexpensive- Looks the partCONS:- You have to unscrew the entire light casing to insert the AA batteries- Batteries are poorly held in place. There is no sturdy case and the batteries can too easily shift out of place.- Overall case is of very flimsy and lightweight construction.- Too loud for little children- no volume controlOverall - it's designed with aesthetics that would appeal to a child, but its too loud to be a toy.

Cheap, loud, but works.
I always read descriptions and reviews. ALMOST.I saw this and immediately thought of my 6yo nephew. Put it right in my cart and checked out.I didn't read the size. I was expecting something a lot bigger. They must have used a dolls bike for the picture they are using. This thing is small.I also don't like having to look at the product page on Amazon to try to figure out where the batteries go. There are ZERO directions in the box (or on it). Only in the description... which I didn't read. After feeling how cheaply made it was (the buttons even wiggle around) I decided to put batteries in it and try it. This thing is LOUD! Just be warned.I thought about giving it 3 stars. While I'm not thrilled with it, I'm sure my nephew is going to LOVE it.Fingers crossed it stays working.

FANTASTIC BICYCLE ALARM!
I received this awesome bike "horn" so-to-speak, which is bright in color, but most importantly, would certainly captivate a driver or pedestrian's attention to be alert for anyone riding a bike (bicycle) on the road or sidewalk. It has phenomenal loud sound: Police, ambulance, warning, and a sound that flashes wildly like European police cars when in wild pursuit. For ten minutes, I played with each sound, then let my family members hear it. It requires two AA batteries, and was so easy to affix on my cruiser's bike handles. What an amazing item fun item, it, again a safety must. My whole attention before I even ride once, is being safe. As I decide each item, I have found items that I am crazy about. I will evaluate each item I receive by Amazon purchases to help someone to find quality, usefulness, reasonable cost, ease of use, and reliability.
