SSH Loaded Prewired Pickguard Set Alnico Dual Rail Humbucker for Fender Strat ST Electric Guitar Replacement - (Black)

I bought an ISIN Full Size Electric Guitar for Beginner with Amp and Accessories Pack Guitar Bag (Yellow) here on Amazon. I mainly got it for a project guitar to tinker with. I bought this SSH Loaded Prewired Pickguard Set Alnico Dual Rail Humbucker for Fender Strat ST Electric Guitar Replacement - so as to replace the one that came on my guitar. After an hour of setting it up and grounding it properly... I plugged it in and the true tone of my cheap fender copy came through. I thought the pickups would sound cheap but they are surprisingly warm and very punchy. The sustain on my cheap guitar... not so good... but the sound itself through my amp... divine. When I run these pickups through my DOD Gunslinger... WOW ! The humbucker make it sound like a Gibson. Very rich and gutsy output. I'm impressed. For the price it was worth it. Now my cheap guitar sounds like a better more expensive cheap guitar. Altogether... I now have 3 guitars with distinct tones and that gives me alternatives when I want to record music. The best part is the cheap guitar sounds good enough to do what I want it to do. I'm always searching for that unique sound that no one else has. For me... it's all about combinations. The screw holes on this product may not align with every fender copy hole. That was the case with mine. No biggie. My guitar is finished and I recommend this product to folks who know what they are doing. It's a good deal. Everything works fine... the wiring is fine. It with be a good upgrade from the cheap stock pickups that come with cheap copy of the Fender Strat .

I was surprised with this loaded pick guard , I installed it in an old Aria Legend Strat that had the same configuration. First off … it is Beautiful and honestly sounds Excellent . I was surprised cause I have lots of guitars and I usually spend 200 and up for great Loaded pickguards from other venders .. but this guitar didn't warranty the cost , however after straightening the neck and doing the intonation , with these loaded Alnico's its an absolutely gorgeous guitar now, plays and sounds incredible .. Cant beat the value here people, I have bought a couple of others in this price range , and I wouldn't buy them again .. however I would buy one of these again .. well worth the money.

It says it comes with a matching back plate. It is in the picture and also on the dimensions drawing,,, but they are lying to you. The description even says "Comes with vintage-style keyed bottom plate."They should be banned from selling on Amazon for ---FALSE ADVERTISING---

The wiring on the product was very good quality and done neatly. The build quality of the parts were also great. The pickups give a good tone for the price as well. Overall an amazing product worth every penny. NOTE: In the picture I used a different pickguard with a look I liked more for this guitar. Also, the humbucker cutout on the new pickguard was too small for this pickup as it is pretty large, so I had to make it bigger.

Really great pickups for the price. The only thing you should be weary of, is the the pick guard itself. I bought this thinking it would fit my Yamaha Pacifica and it didn’t. I had to buy a black pickguard off Ebay that matches my Yamaha and even then I had to drill and extra hole for one of the pots because the pickguard only comes with two pre-cut holes for the volume and tone pots so I had to drill and extra hole in between those two so I could fit the middle tone pot. So if you don’t have a Stratocaster replica of some sort or even a Squier Stratocaster be prepared to do some extra work. All in all, great purchase.

This was relatively easy to swap out and so far I’m happy with the quality and sound. Looks sharp! One problem... I’m missing the back plate and screws that are shown in the picture. If I can get those to complete the order, I would give it 5 stars.

I never got the back plate to cover the springs. But other than that I like it. If the seller reads this I would like the other piece like the picture shows. I'm gonna take the humbucker out and replace it with a Seymour Duncan I have but I love the single coils in it
