I chose this design because I want to be able to easily wear my hair up while also wearing a sun protective hat. The longer panel in the back is perfect for protecting my neck. The front brim isn’t as stiff as other designs but that’s not a big deal for me. Adjusting the size was a little difficult because the strap doesn’t slide easily but with a little patience I was able to get the fit I wanted. I do have a smaller head so once I sized it down there is a little bit of bunching in the back around the area with the sizing strap. I received this hat, the material is nice, seems it would dry quickly if wet. Sits and fits well on the head, the back "flap" does a very nice job of covering the neck when it is flat, or flipped up. The sides cover the face very well, and you can still wear sunglasses comfortably. The ponytail hole fits my hair nicely and I have thick hair that I normally wear in a bun.
