TAKE AWAY YOUR HOMEOWNER WORRIES!
Have had these over 5 years. They are work horses. I forgot about one of them and the battery lasted over 2 years. Still tripped loudly. They take 2 triple-A batteries. I have them in various places around the house including below the dishwasher in the 3-sided drain pan it sits on. That alarm saved my wood floor!! The one in a second floor bath tripped just from me spraying a cleaner near it. I do place all 5 on top of a cloth that is larger than their small footprint just in case the water doesn't quite make it exactly to the alarm. This again saved my wood floor when my water dispenser spigot was knocked and was trickling water onto the wood floor. I couldn't keep the alarm under foot, so the rag that it sat on caught the water and tripped the alarm in time for us to see the water dripping before expensive damage was done. ( I do put them on a piece of cloth also to ensure that if there is water then the sensors on the bottom of the alarm will trigger quicker.) Also have one in the 2nd floor laundry machine drain pan, even though the drain does go all the way to the basement to prevent damage to that 2nd floor. Otherwise I probably wouldn't notice that there was a leak at all until I happened into the basement (where I have another alarm!) Every year I test them and replace the batteries when I do my smoke alarms which are still battery back up ( Haven't upgraded to 10 year batteries yet). The price of this 5 pack is a pittance when you think about the money it has saved me not just once but multiple times. Piece of mind rarely comes this cheap. I highly recommend these alarms!!

Great product. Very decently priced. It works as expected and saved future headache
Initially I bought GoVee hub with a kit and additional 3 sensors for over 3 yrs. In those years they all worked so well to alert me on a couple of occasions that I recently ordered additional sensors. Now I can have one sensor for each place that has valves, either toilet, bath or kitchen sinks. Each Battery set lasts around 3 yrs and simple to replace. The alarm is so loud that i can hear anywhere in my big home. The app is so great that it can provide battery level of each sensor. It can alert when there is leak around the sensor while you are away. NOTE: it can only alert you if there is a leak so you can intervene. It does NOT stop the leak or shut your water.

Everyone should have these in their house!
One of the best things we ever bought. It hasn’t been that long since we bought them and the one underneath the kitchen sink already alarmed us about the small leak and we’re so impressed! It’s loud and you won’t miss the sound, we happened to be at home when we had the leak and my husband was able to check on it and fixed the problem right away before it made a huge mess. It’s so easy to install them and knowing that they work so well and that itself helps us at ease.

Great For Peace of Mind
Love these. Must use hub. Saved me several times with leaking bidet fittings. The only negative aspect is a software feature that allows you to set off the alarm. I can't find a unit that's connected to my hub. It's probably buried in a box but there's no way to set off the alarm remotely to locate it by sound.

Excellent, with one significant caveat
Like swblake noted, the instructions for pairing, in the instruction manual are not correct. To pair a water sensor with a hub, assuming that you have already plugged the hub into an electrical outlet and successfully connected to the hub via the Govee app (Android/iOS), long press the lower button on the hub, for about 3 seconds. That will put the hub into pairing mode. Then, bring the water sensor very close to the hub (a few inches away), and long press the water sensor's button for about 3 seconds. Give it another 5-10 seconds for it to finish pairing. From the lights, it's pretty obvious when it's paired successfully. Once it's been paired successfully, you can then relocate the water sensor to your desired location. Interestingly, one of the water sensors actually detected an occasional, minor drip, that was occurring in one of my bathrooms, that I had not previously noticed at all. As a test of the battery levels, I replaced the batteries on one unit with older batteries, having a voltage of 1.17 volts each. I was pleased to note that when I refreshed the Govee hub app, it picked up that the battery level on that water sensor had gone down, from 5 bars to 2 bars. CAVEAT: I did another test where I removed the batteries entirely. Unfortunately, when I did this, and then refreshed the hub app's device list, the water sensor, from which I had removed the batteries, still showed up in the list, with NOTHING to indicate that there was anything wrong with the water sensor. In fact, as an additional test, I left out the batteries for 30 minutes, and the Govee hub was UNABLE to detect that the water sensor was no longer operational.. This is a problem because, if a water sensor suddenly dies, the user has NO WAY to tell that it's died. And so they're left in a situation where they think the water sensor is still working when it actually isn't. This could very well result in a catastrophic situation where the user ends up suffering thousands of dollars in water damage due to this software fault. A better way to handle this situation is, if the Govee hub cannot detect a device, upon device list refresh, simply flag/highlight the device and, ideally email the user, regarding the water sensor that is no longer sending messages to the hub. Optionally, allow the user to specify the timeout duration, beyond which they want to receive an alert. For example, if the Govee hub hasn't received a status update from a device within a 5 minute time period, have the Govee hub send an alert to the user regarding said device.. Hopefully, Govee will push out an update to resolve this important issue. Getting notifications on my Android phone, when a water leak is detected is pretty awesome! I actually created a custom ringtone, of a dripping sound, to associate with water leak notifications. Which helps to determine that it's a HIGHLY IMPORTANT notification.. Getting app notifications, for water leaks, is a killer feature, for water sensors. Love it. And the idea of transmitting on 433 MHz frequency, to the Govee hub, instead of having each sensor connected directly via WiFi, is probably an excellent design decision, in terms of conserving, prolonging battery life, as direct Wifi connections would probably have required much bigger capacity batteries, due to their relatively higher energy requirements.

Great quality and very sensitive
There are tons of cheap detectors all over amazon and they look like it. Unlike those other products Govee has yet again made a durable and well made device with only a small premium compared to competitors. Govee is quickly become a go to company for me, everything I’ve purchased from them has exceeded my expectations. I use these under my sink, around my water heater, washer, and toilets. They come with the batteries (small silver button cells) installed and you pull a tab to activate. The unit isn’t particularly loud, I was able to hear it when it detected water under my sink from another room but it wouldn’t have woken me up if I was asleep. These are very sensitive though, it alerted me when a small amount of water leaked from my ptrap- I couldn’t see any standing water but it was very humid u set the sink. There’s no way to turn the alarm off once it starts, pressing the button mutes it for a couple seconds before it alarms again. You have to remove the device from the area and it will stop alarming shortly once it’s in a dry location. Tldr- good for sinks and toilets in areas where you expect to be so you can hear it- it’s not loud enough to put in a basement, it likely won’t wake you up at night. Don’t think you can press the button and deal with the leak, it only mutes for a short period of time before alarming again which can be annoying when dealing with the leak

Peace of mind!
These things have saved me several times and give me so much peace of mind! Let's face it, travel trailers aren't cheap... or sturdy in build. You tow them down the road and every little bump or vibration can loosen plumbing / fittings. An incomplete winterization and those same things can also crack. Water damage is the silent killer of any TT and I sure wasn't about to ruin the large investment we had made. So, I stuffed these leak detectors in all the most vulnerable places... and they really worked! They alerted me every time I went to use the black tank flush, enabling me to find and replace a a cracked check-valve. These also helped me discover a loose hot water supply fitting behind my shower handles (as it alerted me to a shower leak whenever I turned the water heater on). Problems that are known right away are problems that can be fixed before any real damage is done. In fact, these leak detectors helped me so much that I also bought the wifi version for my house, so I can monitor my dehumidifier and A/C condensate drains (and pumps) while away in the TT for weeks at a time (and - combined with some smart plugs - I can actually shut off any device that the detectors alert to be leaking).

Buy it.
Phenomenal product, and will give you peace of mind knowing that any leak will be detected immediately. As an example of how sensitive it is to even a small amount of moisture or a slow leak, if I pick one up and place it in my open hand, it usually goes off just with the small amount of sweat in my hand. Good battery life, and the app notification is great too for when you're not at home. Everyone should buy these.

Good Quality , works really well
These water leak detectors give you total peace of mind. I tested them out, and they actually work wonderfully! The audio alarm is loud enough to hear across, and the smartphone alerts come through immediately. Setup was straightforward, truly a lifesaver!

Fast detection and efficiency
I put detectors under my sinks and behind toilets. They are very sensitive therefore even small condensation can cause activation. Loud noise you can hear easily and warnings on my phone pops up when something happens. Great product for cheap price.

Excellent!
I have the 3 sensor kit with the wifi hub and this set of an extra 5 sensors. It just works! No problem at all. Had 3 water problems and each time this kit notified me instantly. Wasn't so lucky prior to this purchase. Only downside, if you're relying on the detectors alarm, it's not the loudest. It's fine if you're close by. The wifi hub is where it shines! Any device you have linked to the app will notify you. In my case, I get an email, my phone notification tells me which sensor is leaking and my Google Assistant speaks out loud I have a water leak and where it is. Just awesome.

Very good product
Ordered these as extras and installed under all the toilets and kitchen sink. Had installed 3 previously , basement and within sump pump barrel. One went into alarm during a long downpour , as the rain barrels overflowed causing water in the basement.. got the alarm on my iPhone within seconds. Dealt with the rain barrel overflow. Only a few drops in the basement..
