Great for handling a feral cat!
Trying to rescue a feral cat before what could be an harsh Chicago winter. The little buddy is loving but playful and has razor sharp claws and likes to nip. Bought these along with some heavy duty leather gloves.MAGID is an American company, a manufacturer and distributor, in the Chicagoland area, making and selling only quality products. These gloves did not disappoint and are far better than the leather gloves in terms of comfort and dexterity. No punctures at all, even after being rabbit kicked by kitty's back legs. The gloves are form fitting, but I found the XL good for a man doing outdoor tasks. I just bought a second pair for my wife. Support American companies.

The Best Protection for rose pruning or thorny plants!
I absolutely LOVE these gloves! They are perfect for rose pruning as well as for trimming all other thorny bushes and brambles . They have a very comfortable fit, cover your arms for great protection from scratches or pokes, and are washable. They are very useful for any other types of gardening as well so you don't have to change gloves while working! My son gifted me the first pair and I've liked them so much I bought 2 more... so then my son got 3 more pairs for his good friends and himself.

Best Thorn Protection
I was really pleased with this purchase. The Gloves are of good quality. I have a large Rose bush & due to being 80 & having very thin skin. I needed them. I saw them in a catalog & they were like $29.99 but they only offered Medium & Large sizes. I being petite needed to have size small to prevent my constant bleeding from trimming them. So I thought just for kicks I would check that price & see if I could find someone offering a small. My kids always tell me go to "Amazon Mom, they have everything." Well they were right. I immediately located these great pruning gloves in a size small & way less money then the magazine was offering. These gloves fit my fingers & hands perfectly with the protection up to my elbows whiling pruning my roses. No more thorny cuts for me. I recommend them wholeheartedly. True product, right price & I am thrilled.

Nice garden gloves, but not water resistent
I bought these because I want to protect my hands and arms when working with my roses. They are really nice, they are thick enough so the thorns won't penetrate, but they are also flexible unlike some other leather gloves. The only think is they are not water resistant. Need to use other gloves when dealing with water.

These are my go-to gardening gloves (and I've tried MANY!)
I absolutely love these gloves, and buy them a couple pairs at a time as a result. A year ago I made the mistake of trying a similar-looking brand, which cost less. BIG mistake. Here's why: these MAGID Extra-Long Thornproof Pruning and Gardening Gloves are comfortable on my small (delicate) hands, tough as nails when gardening around anything with thorns, and wash/dry like a dream! (Yes, I wash & dry my gardening gloves occasionally when they've become too caked with dirt)The cheaper pair I bought a year ago --- even though they looked almost identical to these gloves --- weren't as flexible in the fingers, and I ended up bruising the tiny knuckle joint just beneath my nail bed on both middle fingers. It's a weird injury that's lasted 9 months now, long after I stopped wearing the inferior gloves. The MAGID Extra-Long Thornproof Pruning and Gardening Gloves are just so darn comfortable & flexible in comparison. I will buy them for as long as they're available.

Protects from 90% of thorns
I was skeptical when I bought these to cut down a wall of brambles in my yard, but I'm delighted to report that these kept me from harm almost all of the time. So long as you're careful and don't do something silly, like use an iron grip on thorny vines, thorns won't penetrate the glove. They're comfortable and appear to be well made. I've been wearing them five days a week for a month, and they're still good.

Great gloves for a great price!
Although they claim the items on the finger tips are for texting, I didn't have luck doing that or fine motor anything with them on. I got these to replace long gloves I used in my garden, especially working, clipping my roses and they've worked out very well. I have a hard time finding gloves that fit as I, a girl, inherited my Dad's broad hands. I think my fingers are also wider but shorter than many. (see pic). This is important because these gloves fit me really well and they cost less than $20. My last pair lasted several years but the replacement cost was over $60 so I was very happy to find these gloves and even happier to try them on and find they're a great fit (a lot of it is I don't have an inch of empty space at the end of each finger. :-) Makes me very happy. Great gloves for a great price.

WOW I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE
I don't write many reviews but I had to on these. I have this very thorny blackberry bush I have scratches all over me just to try to cut and I came in went on Amazon and read the reviews and ordered these asap. I got them in the mail other day and I was excited to try these and boy do they work I didn't get stuck at all I could grab the branches with no problem I love that they cover the arms and I got the medium size and the gloves fit great. I totally recommend these for those terrible thorny bushes. Now I don't be getting attacked lol I'll be doing the attacking 😀 I only used once so far if any issues I'll come back and update my review.
