3M Corded Reusable Earplug, 3-Pair with Case

These are very easy to insert and remove and they block noise very well. I’ve never been able to get a good seal with the compressible foam type earplugs, but these work very well. These are a huge improvement over any other earplugs I’ve used

I have tried all of the overhead ear muffs/ cheap and expensive and you can still hear a lot of noise and after I use my mower my ears hurt. These are better than the over head by far. They actually plug into your ears. It just takes a little practice to get them in. It’s a little easier if your ears are hot and sweaty to get them in. I also have out the overhead ear muffs/ protection over these…but now I just use them without as the overhead tend to hurt my ears. I use these for commercial mowers and blowers.

Overall, good product. Functionally, works very well. These have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25 dB. I compared them to my ear muffs with NRR of 23 dB, and these earplugs from 3M do in fact, block out noise better (while shooting at the range and while playing really loud music). Impressive. I also really like that they are so small and compact and even comes with compact carrying case. These earplugs from 3M take up way less space than my ear muffs and that is a plus. These 3M earplugs are so much easier to insert into ear canals compared to traditional foam earplugs that have to be rolled and compressed before inserting. These 3M earplugs are as comfortable as traditional foam earplugs and appear to be as durable if not more durable. I like that the earplugs are attached to a lanyard/cord (can drape around neck and access quickly). The only shortcoming was that it only came in one color; that bright safety orange commonly used in hunting. It would have been nice to have some different color choices. Other than that, good value for price.

Been using these for a couple of years. I use these whenever I mow the lawn. They work great protecting my ears. Easy to put in and they stay seated. After a couple of hours I'm ready to take them out but that's been the case for every form of ear protection I've ever worn. I like these better than foam inserts or tips, and better than over ear earmuff style hearing protection.

Reviews for this brand other earplug brands were helpful in my search so I wanted to do the same. These plugs are excellent ! Don't be swayed by their low cost for 3 pair, they're made by 3M. I'd had a pair of these for extensive international business travel and left them in a foreign country....I didn't know their brand because they'd been a gift. I'm extremely glad I found them again. They're on the side of being "larger diameter" but I'm a male with normal ear canal size and they work really well for me. On long international flights if I push them snugly into my ears they block 90% of the jet engine noise in flight ! which is a real benefit when you're trying to get some rest or sleeping. I can only imagine for loud power equipment and the like they'd really protect your hearing. Some really good features I find is the "flanges" that go in your ear are soft and pliable and the posts you grasp to insert the plugs and remove them are not flimsy, they're "firm" and easy to grasp. Before I found these on Amazon I'd ordered the Etymotic ETY-Plugs High Fidelity Earplugs, Standard Fit, Frost Tip for me they were way too small a diameter and no matter the position only blocked 30-40% of the noise at most, the Large would've probably been a better fit but I couldn't find them offered....I returned these. Prior to these I purchased the Junhua Reusable Silicon corded plugs....they had a very strong silicone smell when I opened the package and they were so soft and basically flimsy I couldn't get them properly positioned...the post you grasp to insert them is way too pliable and flexy which affects trying to use them... I returned these. I'm very glad I could find these replacements.

Great product. Comfortable and effective sound reduction. The cord is great. No more lost plugs.

I got these in hopes of having earplugs that I could clean and reuse. They aren't really working for me though. They don't block out much noise, and are not comfortable. It feels hard in my ear, like it's digging into my skin.

These earplugs are the best fitting earplugs I found. I have tried a couple other brands of earplugs and wasn't satisfied. I will definitely buy this 3M brand again.
